Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Ok so today I play left 4 dead 2 with my friend, it was a good movie with some running zombies and some with speical attacks... but what I know was that the shotgun wasn't effevie against the running zombies. Don't get me wrong yea it was killing them but it took awhile to reload and get the round in the chamber. Yea we know that a shotgun is good against a zombie but now I am thinking would I have a automatic weapon or a shotgun with me?

What you all think about it?

automatic weapons are good for long distance kills (head shots).
but ya just know at some point zeds will get up close, and personal.
so i would carry a sawed off shotgun, and a good mele weapon.
bad thing about any gun, or rilfe is that they run out of ammo.
this is what i intend to use on z-day for me. but for the mostpart, i intend to be stingy about the ammo and use a melee weapon. reason being clowny is right, ammo can run low or out when you dont want it to.

1) AK47 with 5 mags (30 rounds each) and bayonet
2) Mossberg 590 military/police shotgun with bayonet
3) Springfield Armory XD9 with 5 mags (16 rounds each)
4) a shit load of knives
5) Cold Steel War Hammer
Yea rhino have a good idea on what types of firepower to use, the ak-47 is a good weapon that is built to be tough. but you should have more mags and a cleaning kit to kept your weapons clean and workable.
i ALWAYS have a cleaning kit bro. the reason i dont have more mags is because i will also be carrying ammo for my shotgun and handgun to. to much ammo of one kind can bog you down if you need to move fast. granted the fact i will be using a tactical vest like i sell in The Alamo Trading Poste. but if you bog down your bugout bag with to much ammo, you become a zombie happy meal.
well basic combat load is 200 rds. so 7 mags with 30 rounds each is a good load to carry and you can also have a tactical assualt backpack with you to carry the rest of the ammo. but it just my way of thinking....
the machete issue is why i am looking into Cold Steel inc. for when it comes to melee weapons. they have all make and blade design on these things. they even have 2 handed machetes for those who need a little added leverage or an inch more strenght to the strike. they even sell my all time favorite in machete form, The Kukri. the contracts are due to be signed with them in mid march by the way. i will keep everyone posted on this stuff by the way. lol.

they even offer battle ready katanas. but they are kinda pricey, even on the wholesale.
i'm on it love.
i want something like a 'lobo' from world war z.
katanas are nice, but next ta useless for us guys that is all thumbs.
i am about as nimble as a one legged man walking a tight rope.
well. the contracts are signed with cold steel. when i get the price list, i'll post in the section of the The Alamo Trading Post where the vests are.the list is due any day now.
i recomend getting one that you can use in both an open and enclosed space. that is the main reason i am such a "stick in the mud" when it comes to the kukri styles edged weapons. due to the design, they have 2x the chop power of a hatchet and 3x that of a standard machete. so even if space is ever an issue, you still have the punch to do the job. but out of what you got there, i'd be torn between the Gerber Gator and the Cold Steel model.

i always consider a shot gun more of a close quartos weapon, for clearing out structures. Where its large spray of fire could be used to clear whole hallways. for everything else i would consider a semi auto riffle. it will give you the range to kill zombies. as well as accuracy. also i never suggest full auto. there is simply to much temptation to use it and then you'll go through all you ammo in a few minuets and be fucked. Where as semi auto will let you fire as fast as you can squeeze the trigger which can still be pretty fast.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
