I like your thinking. I hear the Army (cia?nsa? whoever) is working on a nonlethal sonic weapon that will make a group of rioters crap there pants. Sort of like those Humvee mounted gizmos on the Hulk. Why not do something like that with zombies? An ultrastrong directional Microwave that would superheat the skull and it would POP. Probably due to increase pressure, like a pressure cooker. It would have to be directional so you wouldnt fry friendlies. The problem I see is that it would take soooooo much power that it would be impractical. Not sure an actual emp would do anything. Would it? I know it would fry electronic circuits, but what about zacks brains. Supposedly emps dont affect humans. What about zombies? They are far more indestructable than us. Opinions?

the gizmos on the humvees in the hulk movie were sonic guns. they use ultra high sound waves to cripple or totally incapacitate the enemy by knocking off their equalibrium. in effect they are attacking the enemy with "sea sickness" because it can cause nausia and vomiting. also if used right, can cause deafness by attacking the ear drums. sonic guns would be way better in this way then EMP's. the only real use for an Electro Magnetic Pulse weapon is to kill out the enemies electronics like computers and things like this. they are so effective that they even kill out power sources like electricity and ever batteries. so something like an EMP weapon could come in handy for use against enemy raiders.

High tech cutting edge weapons are way kool, but I have to say I'm in favor of the good ol' fashioned bullet. The undead's only weapon is their numbers, so I think dropping napalm from choppers on large groups would be highly effective. They have little resource and strategy ability so we could keep it old school and have great results. Besides, who knows if sonic weapons would work on zombies? The brain must be destroyed totally, not just damaged. The enemy does not feel pain. How much electricity would it take to fry a zom's brain? At least we know a brain piercing bullet is 100%.

I agree. I like the simplicity of the bullet. There will be no shortage of them either. Or the lobo for close in work. Gotta feel nice bashing in a skull. However, being able to kill scores at once has an allure. How about gasoline filled moats (sp?) or something like that?

to save on bullets like in one on one combat with a zombie. one can always use melee weapons. these are my favorites.

its a kukri knife. due to the design, it has twice the power of a hatchet and three times the power of a mechete. also it works better then a sword because they dont need a lot of room to use.

The Electro Magnetic Pulse Bomb is meant to disable enemy electronics. It has no effect on organic tissue. So no, the EMP would not have any effect whatsoever on the zeds.
