YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
I knew if I waited long enough someone would put the pics up. Though it's not a perfect replica of Bub from the Day of the Dead, many others have noticed this to be as close as they could get to pay tribute to the Father of the Dead, George A. Romero...
I knew I wasn't the only freaking person out there that saw this...Damn....Here's an article that I found about Bub being in The Walking Dead....
The Walking Dead recently dropped another cool tribute to its undead kin by giving a zombie cameo to Bub from George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead.
In the 1985 movie, Bub - played by Sherman Howard - was a semi-domesticated zombie capable of carrying out basic tasks and remembered parts of his past life.
He appeared in Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, "Us" as part of the horde of zombies that attacked Glenn in the Tunnel of Death.
The images are pretty grainy, but you check out an image of Bub in the movie and the TV show below:
Welcome back Bub! It's good to see you again, although it looks as though the intervening years have been less than kind to you.

Last month we shined the spotlight on six zombie cameos you might have missed on The Walking Dead - fun little Easter egg homages that makeup effects artist/producer Greg Nicotero likes to throw in from time to time. Everyone from Dawn of the Dead's 'Flyboy' to the undead Jack from An American Werewolf in London has showed up for quick appearances in the past, and last night Nicotero continued the 'Where's Waldo?' fun with a tribute to perhaps the most beloved zombie of all time.
In the Nicotero-directed episode - which you can read a recap of right here on FEARNET - Glenn and Tara bravely trekked through a dark, zombie-infested tunnel, which both of them narrowly escaped with their lives. The scene very much evoked the feeling of George Romero's Day of the Dead, and Nicotero capitalized on that fact by inserting a pretty familiar looking zombie into the proceedings, who was only seen in quick blink and you'll miss him flashes.
In the event that you indeed did blink and miss him, check out a couple screen grabs from Bub's cameo below, which come to us courtesy of Cannibal Reviews!
The original Day of the Dead was the first film Nicotero worked on, serving as Tom Savini's assistant and even appearing on screen in a brief role. A career come full circle, to say the least!

i thought it was cool they did a Bub appearance. i had to watch the second showing because i was not sure what i was seeing. but when i was sure. i thought it was AWESOME. lol
the moment i saw that zombie i knew it was bub. its great when they put little Easter eggs like that in these things
i could never get into that movie. the idea of an electronic collar to make the dead like pets for some reason just dont fly for me. the movie was well put together dont get me wrong. i just cant get into it. i usually fall asleep during it. lol
there is NO WAY in hell i would feel comfortable with a zombie in my home. Tamed with a collar or otherwise. Lol.
here is some fun behind the scene stuff on Day of the Dead.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
