YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

no its not really in the way or anything. i hardly notice it when I'm wearing it.
so i had some left over belt material from my harness so just messing around i made this.
its just a length of my favorite belt material and a buckle cut to the size of a bracelet.
nothing too fancy but it fits my big old wrists like a glove. but the part that sets it apart is the metal plate i attached to.
its cut sheet aluminum glued in place and inscribed with one of my favorite psalms. 59 verse 2.
"Deliver me from the workers of iniquity.
Save me from bloodthirsty men. "
i actually wanted it to be 59:10
"My God will go before me with his loving kindness.
God will let me look at my enemies in triumph. "
but their just wasn't room for the extra digit. of course i did all the engraving myself. so what do you guys think?
sweet. your creativity knows no bounds.
thanks, its easy when you do what you love.
yeah i really want to put a license plate bracer on that arm though. if i can find a license plate.
so with only about a week left till the con i finally got around to making my desert robe. went down to the local craft store and picked out two pieces of off white fabric. a cotton linen blend for the under tunic and a cotton canvas for the shoulder cloak. and after a few hours of cutting and sewing i got it to this point.
both pieces have been cut and shaped to length and design. i just have to attach the under tunic to the top cloak at the collar. weather and add detail pieces and I'm done. oh and make a hood. luckily i got enough left over material for that. i should after all this fucking fabric cost me 50 bucks.
and here's the robe with the two layers sewn together and the outer cloak cut and shaped. i still have more work to do. weathering a little more tailoring. buckles and such adornments. and of course the hood but its getting there.
it's not an exact replica but i modeled it after this picture and i think its pretty close to the source art.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
