YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

nah. missed it. at least i think i did. lol. but yeah, id go that bro. more bad ass then a plain old holster.
yeah the holster i just made to see if i could.
Tandy is still around...Got den leaders who have better paying jobs then the one I got and they buy a lot of their projects from them....
I'll look in to them, still got enough chair leather left for a while. but when i run out I'll look them up.
so after oh to long series of coinciding snow storms i was finally able to get out and get supply's to make a big piece of my costume. and here it is.
i made this shoulder harness to hold the re purposed knee pad turned shoulder pad out of discount $1.99 leather belts other wise known as pleather. ; D
the shoulder pad looks great and stays in place really well thanks to the harness. there are easier ways i could have done this but i love the look of it and i was inspired by a photo from Dimitry over at nuclear snail studios. if you don't know his work look him up on YouTube he has some great videos about making post apocalyptic clothing.
i used a three different kinds of belts to give it that mashed together look. each and everyone was hand stitched with fishing line to each other and it is fully adjustable for that perfect fit. it was a real pain to sew threw so much thick material. so much so that by the end i could barely move three of my fingers. but it was worth it cause this thing is as sturdy as a rock. its not coming apart any time soon.
here's what the harness looks like with out me in it. pretty strait forward. I'd like to maybe add webbing to hold ammo on belt that goes around my chest but thats just a spit ball idea.
you may remember the 911 medallion i found. when i was finally able to incorporate it now that the harness is done and i gotta say it just looks awesome there. i very happy with how everything came out.
of course i still need to weather everything like the shoulder pad. dirty it up make the black cap there look like its metal and not cheap plastic. but its 90 percent done and i couldn't be happier with it. actually i do have one small problem. unfortunately i wont be able to wear this with that armored gorget i have. the one with the skull on the shoulder. the two just get in the way of each other so this will be like a lighter armor i wear instead of the gorget. still it gives me options to change up the costume.
sweet job bro. you are gonna have a kick ass costume when you get it all together.
thanks man I'm really proud of this one and all in all it cost me less then ten bucks. all i really need to do now is make the robe. that means another trip out to the fabric store. monster mania is counting down on me.
i know bro. lol. unfortunately i cant make it there AGAIN. had some pipes bust under the house today and that took all i saved for Greyhound tickets and a place to sleep not to mention the tickets. had 5 big breaks in those pipes. if it were not for the fact that the crawl space was just big enough for a toddler. i would fix that shit myself. so this time the plumber has me by the nuts and is twisting for gold. damn fucker!!!

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
