this would work great for a crossbow that loses its sights or break. i would venture to even say a shotgun with a heat shield. dont want to put it directly on the barrel because the heat would melt the glue after so many shot shells. puts me in mind of whats called a basic ghost sight. most military weapons have them. the only difference when it comes to military rifles versus military shotguns is the rifle versions adjust. good find bro.

thanks I'm thinking of making a set of these cause i got a prop shotgun i made up but it doesn't have any sights.

yeah in fact i just made a set, only i din't have any pvc sheet so i just used aluminum like i always do came out a lot easier to make. only took me a few minuets. and here they are.

pretty cool right, i made them kinda big cause you know its a shot gun, and its not real so i could get away with not being functional.
