Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

saint, you ever thought about doing a webseries?

a web series, what about?

I'm not good using this computer to design, still like the pencil to paper thing...(LOL)  But this is what I was somewhat was talking about when I was saying highlight...The white being the somewhat of a highlight while the red being the backlight sort of speaking...

Sorry about the nasty looking example...Just not very good at using any kind of paint or coloring program...(LOL)

But maybe you will get what I'm trying to say....I'm pretty sure you can do a better job at it...

you mean something like this?

i don't know it's nice but i think it's too busy now. and i have no idea how i would make a stencil out of it. the idea is an easy logo that can be spray painted on things.something like this.

granted the white highlights do look awesome

i like the original design. but i must admit that the white rocks it bro.

yeah its just gonna be a hard design to spray paint all over my turf, or on arm bands and and armor. i would have to do at least 3 different stencil's, red white and black.

When placing it on armor you could probably get away with pin striping for the outline in white...

When my little one built his tank for his pinewood derby car, I had to figure out how to do the black and white camo on it...I ended up painting the whole thing white first, then taking electrical tape and cutting different shapes and designs out of the tape, I placed it on the car and then spray painted the car black. After the paint dried, I peeled off the tape carefully and it looked pretty good...

Try figuring out how the Hell I'm going to use this on my gear...(LOL)

I found a person that can embroider it on my duster, but as far as putting it on my CosPlay/ Zombie Armor, that's a whole other story...(LOL) The embroidery will run me almost $200 bucks...But it's something in the works that has to be worked on once the costume is finished...Plus two, I have to make a trip to the local crafting store for some supplies...I also need to stop by the hardware store for some supplies as well...

But hey I like it...May take a little work in making your design work, but you can do it...

Oh shit, movie flashback, "You can Do it, Nicki..." (LOL)

oh sure there are ways i can do it, but the point is to make it look like it was done during the apocalypse. where you wouldn't have access to a lot of tools and stuff. but i guess i could try and figure it out.

crudely drawn or painted on

and you could not have chosen a more difficult symbol. i can save you little money on the embroidery though. i could make you up a t shirt with that picture on it then you can cut it out and sew it the the back of your duster like a patch. as for your armor the the only way i see it being done in any way that looks good besides maybe hiring an artiest to hand paint it on. would be to have stickers made up with it and using those on your armor.

I think I may have found a little cheaper way to do the Dragon, just need to find a place that can make it into a patch...

I know for $40 bucks I can get it made into a wall hanging tapestry that's like laser printed I guess...But I'm still looking I might find something I like better...I have found the script I'll be using on all my stuff...

I used to have a book that I loved reading and even practiced some of the things within the book, Dancing with Dragons by DJ Conway...Inside the book there was a script or lettering in which I fell in love with...Most people call them runes others just call it a bunch of nonsense, I called COOL as hell...

I do have a set of these type stones I want to work into the costume somehow, but will figure it out as I get back to work on it...

I have decided to add one piece of metal work to the upper right thigh of my costume pants...

It should allow for some nice face smash if need be....(L)

Well with all these plans, I think next week I'll be working on it more then I have the past few months...But that's what happens with kids, a nagging wife and bills...(ROFLMAO)

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
