so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

sweet if you can get some id be more then happy to pay the postage to get them here to me.

I'm still looking. I put out some feelers. But nothing yet. I'll keep you updated on how it's going...

my source said he should have some news for me for sure by Friday. i shall let ya know more then.

thanks both you guys I've been wanting to do license plate armor for a long time. I've seen everything from bracers to full roman legion styled chest armor made from them so it should be fun.

;-)

check out the sweet apocalyptic themed sheath i made for my machete.

now i just need to weather it, make it look like its spent decades being dragged around the apocalyptic ruins of America. so what do you guys think?

I like the orange and white telephone cord, that actually looks like primer cord...Pretty badass...Just one question, How did you do the verses??  Looks like you printed some off and then tore the papers.

As to the weathering, I have been told to pack old wet coffee grounds around the prop and then wrap it with some newspaper and then bury it in the ground for a few days...Only problem I have with that is I would probably forget where the hell I buried the damn thing that someone else would find it before I was able to remember....(ROFL)

Oh, I'm checking out a lead on some old license plates for ya. So far most of them have been a bust. But i keep looking and checking up on leads.

Will be getting back to work on my costume after the first of the year...Got so much metal work to do on it that I have to find a few more satellites in order to finish the armor parts on my boots, pants and jacket. The jacket will be the hardest part...Because I'm still trying to find a leather biker's jacket to finish off the metal work. But once I'm able to get the hell out and start looking, I should run across one...Hopefully...(LOL)

But the sheath is pretty fucking cool....

thanks the verses are actually from one of those little pamphlets Jehovah's witnesses are always handing out. got one at the bus stop when i went to that con. was going to throw it out but figured it might com in handy for a project like this one of these days and it did.

thanks for looking so hard you ever need anything i can get here in jersey let me know.

can't wait to see your finished costume.

All my searches also turned up a bust for plates. A lot of the people here are holding on to them for some reason or just giving them to people who collect scrap metal before I get there. Sorry bro. I am still trying though. One of the things you can do to make any paper product look aged is the cloths dryer. Many a counterfeiter does this with their funny money to fool the trained eye. They also throw in poker chips to help by letting them beat up the finished product. Gives it that circulated look. So with it done already. If you throw that sheath into the dryer on high heat. Then you should give you the weathered look you want.

yeah i don't know if i wanna take the risk so much wire and rope tied around it. if something comes undone and gets caught it could ruin it. i was think wiping it down with a used tea back and then maybe dry brushing some black paint on stuff like that. all it is a cheap nylon sheath reinforced with aluminum tape, love this stuff, Kaaba skewers, twine, wire, duck tape and scriptures.

and thanks for looking guy again anything you guys need that i can get it yours.

You have the whole apocalyptic ruins of America thing down and ready to kill!

thanks

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
