Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Did the Egyptians know more about designing and building of the pyramids??

Lets look at the pyramids for a second. They have stood for thousands of years and have with stood storms of all kinds throughout those long years. Lets not forget within the infrastructure of the pyramids they have discovered elaborate traps, tunnels, secret rooms and giant tombs large enough to house a family of five or more...So did the Egyptians actually figure out a better way to battle the Undead without even knowing?? Or did they in fact design these to not only battle the undead, but also to imprison the undead??

Though we think most of our bunkers, homes and apartments and other structures would be the best in defending and thriving through the Zombie Apocalypse, but after looking and watch the video below, I think the Egyptians were on to something.

Stop and think about the way the pyramids are build. The base is always wider then the top, they're steep as fuck, damn near a straight drop to the ground. One slip and there would be no stopping till you hit bottom. The height of these things means that there could multiple layers for living, growing, storage and much, much more.

What do you guys think??? Did the Egyptians actually discover a better way in protecting, defending and battling the UnDead with the design of the pyramids?? What do you think??

The video below shows the construction of a small safety bunker from Doomsday Bunkers. Even this shows the strength of the pyramids even on a small scale...So image a larger pyramid big enough to have a family of 5, food storage, weapons storage and even power sources in which you would never be without power. And depending on the placement of this pyramid, a never ending supply of water...

Take a look at the video and see what you think of the idea of building a larger version of this bunker that would basically be part of the main central unit of a compound....

i think they were on to more then just a defensive bunker. i think they were on to how to fight the undead in general. i mean why else would they go so far as to remove all the major internal organs and rip the brain out in nuggets through the nose? if it were to just mummify a body. they would not need to do all that for that purpose because mummies have been found all over the world that still had everything in place. i think they not only figured out how to defend themselves from a hoard of undead. but even made sure they didnt face anymore of them by ripping the brain out through the nose and removal of other key organs as well. other then the Roman Army. i think the Egyptians we one of the most capable in their time to fight off zombies by the hoards.

i really dont think that was why they did all that man. the Egyptians were all about the after life. every second of their lives was devoted to thinking and planning for the next one. like a lot of early religions and i guess religion in general its all about the next life. the mummified themselves pulled their organs out and placed them in giant stone monuments in order to pass on to better life. they believed that the soul was still bound to the body. so in order for the soul to be eternal the body had to be too which is why they went through that whole proses. and your right you can mummify with out ripping out the organs but they naturally dont dry out they just rot which can damage the mummy. also this way they could preserve the organs too. don't look to much into them scooping out the brain. they had no idea what the brain did. just like how they had no idea what any of the other internal organs did. they didn't know it was the most important part where the you really is. in fact up into the Renascence it was still wildly believed the brain was just their to cool the blood. we knew very little about how our body's worked.

as for the pyramids being built to stop zombies. while i do admit they would make awesome zombie forts they weren't built for that. they were just designed by old assholes who thought of themselves as god's. is it really a surprise that they would spend decades and work thousands of slaves to death just to build giant monuments to themselves. like i said in ancient Egypt it was all about the after life. having a giant fancy tomb was the pinnacle of success. like having a mansion or fancy car. it was nothing more then away for rich snobs to say look at the size of my massive penis. they were just showing off. as for the reason it was designed the way it was because the Egyptians believed that when you died you could take everything with you. which was why the pyramids was filled with everything a pharaoh owned or that he might need on the other side. gold jewels even wives and slaves some times entombed alive with him. that was a lot of reasons for people to break in. tombs were often robbed so they had crazy confusing layouts and traps and dead ends. they even found tunnels would be thieves carved into the pyramids. so they were designed more as vaults then bunkers. also Egyptian mythology had all these crazy things. a soul had to preform like 50 different tasks after death just to move on. so the pyramids were designed for that. basically their is a path that the soul would have to take from its burial chamber all the way to the top of the pyramid and up into the stars. which is why they line up with orion's belt. so basically the pyramids are the combination of religious mambo jumbo, narcissism! not zombies sorry

Does anyone think that we've forgotten how to fight the Undead? Or is it that with the violent nature of man we've become numb to the situation? Have we started believing in the Hollywood hype?

Another thing you have to keep in mind here is that all that we know on this culture is just theory anyway. We can only guess why they did what they did. But if one were to ask me. Prior encounters with the undead rocks it just as much as any to me.

true but we do have lots and lots of written stuff from them including the uber detailed funeral incantations and burial rights they used, basically their book of the dead. which does explain everything behind why the mummified and everything. so we can make fairly reasonable presumptions about their culture. but all ancient people did usually have myths about the dead coming back to life. we all have our bogyman.

You know what they say though. All fiction is based in a hidden or lost fact. And when it comes to the Egyptians. There is a lot more to discover yet and their written language has yet to be fully translated.

yeah no the whole there's no smoke with out fire thing, what about a smoke machine. it really just stems from our own fear and lack of knowledge about death. its a universal human thing. after all were the only creature that is actually aware of its own mortality and can contemplate on it.

true. but you cant help but wonder why they did what they did with the human body like removal of the brain. i mean if mummification was the key to everlasting life. one can make a mummy easy with the most basic element they had on hand. salt. and they had tons of it and was a key thing in their mummification process. a week in a salt vat will dry out most anything they put in it. not only externally but internally as well. so i propose the questions again. if they have had no encounter with the undead? then why remove the brain? if there is any credit to what Max Brooks wrote in THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE: RECORDED ATTACKS. then they must have had a higher reason then just making a mummy. reason i bring it up is because in his series of short tales he published. it touched on this very thing. and in some of his fictional writings. some facts can be found if you dig around on the internet.

rituals man they don't have to make sense. people did all kinds of crazy shit to the dead through out history, some of which still in place today. have you ever seen a body carried out a doorway head first. no always feet, why cause superstition says it confusing the body so the evil ghost can't find its way back. body staked to the ground, buried with bricks in their mouth. people do fear the dead. but come on it's because we fear death. we all want to believe death is not the end cause thats a scary thought. much more so then any ghost or zombie. that when you die you just disappear forever. everything you where lost forever.

During my time in school, even the history teachers told me that there was more to the history of all people throughout history. Hell, one history teacher told me that history is written not only by the victor but also by people who theorize about other cultures.

Everything is lost in translation. Stop and think about it. We have writings of ancient peoples in which these so called scholars know how to translate but every time they translate something, something is always missing.

Take the Bible for instance. It was translated into many different languages throughout the thousands of years since it has been around. So much of the language in which it was written in was also mis-interrupted or lost because of translation.

And that's before the council of the so called holy leaders met and decided what was to actually be in the bible. But that's a whole other topic...(LOL)

So in all actuality, translation of any culture of the past is highly speculated due to mis-translation and of course guessing about the culture and their language.

I got to agree when it comes to the bible. That book has been translated, reinterpreted, and I'm general the most published book in the whole world. Not even Mother Goose nursery rhymes are that well published. So for actual accurate translation to be more then lost is not an ill conceived idea. Point of order being a spot on idea. That is why I seldom listen to the "experts".

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
