New Zombie killing Weapon!
hello once again, now as many of you who know me, know i'm always looking for that new way to kill zombies. mainly because i can't use the tried and true method of shooting them in the head since i don't own a gun. now i'm sure many of us here have seen "No Country For Old Men". great movie and one of my personal faves! and I'm sure we all remember the bad guys preferred weapon of choice besides the silenced shotgun. I'm talking of course about his "Cattle Bolt Stunner" which is the proper name for that weapon. basically its a tool used in the processing of beef. its designed to stun a cow before its killed by damaging the brain while leaving the base of the brain stem unharmed. and as well all know form the story of the chicken with its head cut off that ran around the kitchen. you can cut up the brain all you want but as long as the brain stem is intact the animal will keep on living. how ever the same can not be said of people. so i was wondering how do you think this weapon would do against zombies. now in the movie he used one fed by an oxygen tank but they also have ones powered by blanks and even spring loaded ones the size of you hand. in case anyone hasn't scene the movie or just forgot about what i'm talking about check out this scene and then post your comment.

well being in the original Night of the Living Dead they said you kill the brain then you kill the ghoul. i think this could work in a z-poc.

i don't think anyone doubting that it would kill a zombie but i was wondering how effective a wepon you think it would be.

it looks like it would be effective. but i would have to do some digging on it5 being this is the first time i ever heard of one of these.

yeah its how they stun cows and pigs to kill them a spring loaded one was even featured as the murder weapon n bones.

I've seen these in the slaughter house over N.C. That damn thing is so fucking cool. I say it would effective. The spring one I haven't seen. The compressed air one they used at the slaughter house I was trying to get a job at, was pretty fucking deadly. While I was there a guy actually dropped the damn thing and it literally took of 3 of his toes. They said his pinky toe was blown to pieces, that's why they never found it. Or so I heard. i could see this being converted into some kind of handheld weapon. But then again, it would probably be considered more of a CQC weapon. Unless you did figure out a way to convert it into a projectile type weapon.
The only problem I see is that if you you did use the air powered, that you would only get a few shots before having to find a way to refill. Now the spring one would consistantly have to have the spring changed every so often. Then making sure there's enough power in order to shoot the projectile.
I think they wouldn't be to bad of a weapon if worked properly. But I can see it being more of a CQC then a long range weapon. Only because of the accuratacy...That's all I can see wrong with it...

well yeah its for closer range i don't think you cold turn it into a gun. but you could put it on the end of spear and rig a cord to the trigger. just thrust into a zombies face pull the cord and bobs your uncle one dead zombie. with a tank like in the movie i could see you getting hundreds of uses out of it before needing a refill.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive
Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
