YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Hey,

Has anyone heard anything about this movie? Found this on another site...Sounds good to me...Hell, anything that brings my two favorite worlds together can't be to bad...

Look, to let you all in on a little secret about me, now don't laugh, I actually did the wrestling thing for around 5 years. So I learned their tricks and made some good money doing it. Nothing to get rich off of, but enough to crank out a enough of a living for a single guy...I met a few of the Superstars before they were stars and wrestled a few of them during my time in the ring. Granted I never made it off the indie circuit, I had fun doing it...I stopped because a new kid hit me wrong in the leg and screwed my knee up bad enough the docs told me not to wrestle anymore...For those interested, I wrestled mostly in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana, a few matches in North Carolina...But mostly in Tennessee...

Anyways, here is the article I found about this movie...If anyone knows anything about it or know where I can get a sneek peek at it, let me know....

PRO WRESTLERS VS. ZOMBIES

The last time that I really paid any attention to professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan was body slamming The Iron Shiek back in the eighties. However I did see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”, and recently watched John Carpenter’s cult classic “They Live” starring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Heck, even Santo was fighting zombies onscreen back in 1961… a full seven years before Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead”! So I suppose that professional wrestlers actually have a pretty long and notable history in film.

“Pro Wrestlers Vs. Zombies” is an upcoming movie that intends to continue that grand tradition! Despite being your average low-budget zombie film, it has managed to gain a huge amount press and support by featuring an epic cast of popular professional wrestlers such as “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Matt Hardy, Shane Douglas and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle.

With a promise to focus on traditional wrestling moves and “Good Old American Violence,” the filmmakers ran a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign last month and recently released their first trailer online, which you can watch above! But to learn even more about the film including the complete cast of professional wrestlers, behind-the-scenes photos and additional details, simply stop by the “Pro Wrestlers Vs. Zombies”website or visit the official Facebook page online!

Done been to the site and check everything out...There's not much there...If anyone knows any more about this movie, please let me know....

i have heard of it and been looking all over for a copy but to no luck. tell me if you find anything. thats cool about you being a wrestler. unfortunately i hate the sport. my ex best friend use to be all about it before he betrayed me and ran off with over 400 Dollars of my money. kinda soured me on the whole sport but zombies make it worth a watch.

It's not a sport...(LOL)  It's entertainment...That's all it is...(LOL)  I love the way McMahon got everyone to call it a sport...(LOL)

Sorry to hear about what happened to you with your friend...But I enjoyed my time doing it...It was fun when you got little kids wanting your autograph and believed you were as big as The Undertaker....(LOL) Anyways I haven't heard or found anything out about the movie yet...Going to get my wife looking for it, she has better luck in finding things...Me, I get pissed off when after a day or two of looking and can't find nothing....(LOL)

   I'll keep you posted...

thanks and hey it use to sport, before they threw all the Shakespearean acting into it.

Yeah it was a sport back in the early 20's to the late 40's...But during the 50's is when some of the acting came into play. But once McMahon, Vince not his dad, got a hold of it in the late 70's I think, that's when story lines and shit like that came into the forefront of wrestling...Even though wrestling was placed on TV back in the 50's...I watch a lot of the old wrestling matches back in those days due to Classic Sports channel...

I liked the story lines up till Austin left, once he left everything got to the point where I saw the same story lines being repeated but different people. So I just quit watching...I guess the theatrics of Austin were the best and once he left it was just no more fun in it for me...Hell I met Austin at a wrestling school out in California...He wanted volunteers to work with and everyone was scared as hell to get in the ring with him...I was just the dumbass that ended up saying fuck it and stood up...He literally whooped my ass all over that damn ring...I've never been that sore the next day in my life...(LOL)

I had a blast that damn. I still remember him asking me if I was ready for a Texas ass whoopin, and me telling him he can try but he might end up with a Tennessee ass whoopin...(LOL) But because I kept getting up and not staying down impressed him a little. But I ended up with one hell of an ass whoopin...Once the training session was over, I actually crawled my way back to the locker room...I laid on one of the benches in there for a good 45 minutes to an hour...(L)

One of my most best memories in the time I spent in the wrestling world...It may sound morbid, but it was a time I actually had a chance to step in the ring with someone like Austin....

The main secret to the wrestling world that everyone should know, and if they don't, here it is, you have to know how to fall...If you screw up and fall wrong, you can end up not only hurting yourself but the other guy as well...

Sorry, just got a little off the subject....(LOL)  But yeah, it was back in the 20's thru to the late 40's, early 50's...

well there's still the Olympics, i did a little wrestling in high school but never got into it. i was pressured by my friends to join and their was only one other guy in my weight class and he was a senior so he was busy with other people so it wasn't fun.

(LOL)

See I never thought about that wrestling...(L)  Sorry...I know how that feels about not feeling like you either belonged in that sport or felt like those who were in it actually wanted you on the team...Been there and done that...

Back in school I tried out for football...I ended up damn near killing the center and the quarterback...(LOL) The coach said to get the quarterback and when I heard hhhuuup, I pushed the centers head into the ground by stepping on it and jumping off his head and clotheslining the quarterback...

but the one time I was able to get on a sports team, everyone treated me like I was contagous. So after the first three weeks, I tried talking to the coach but all he did was push it off...So on game day I never showed up...Hell the team never knew I wasn't there....

So I kind of know where you are coming from on that....

i heard of this movie. even seen a trailer on it. it looks kickass! i want it to.

See, it has one of my favorite wrestlers, and my mom's favorite wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper...He was just so far out there in left field, he was just badass...I'll keep looking but can't promise I'll find anything....

me and mom both love Rowdy Roddy Piper. he is just totally off the hook.

Well, I got the wife looking around and she did find that it was being Premiered over in England on Oct. 24th to the 27th...So we'll be waiting awhile to see it....Nothing was found about a release date for the states...

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
