YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
Now we all love our guns and discussion about head shots. But I’d like to take a moment out to discuss Malays if I may. There has been a lot of discussions about decapitation, and while I’ve heard about how many swings it will take what I have never heard talk of is will a decapitation stop a zombie cold, or will its severed head continue to function, biting at you and creating an undead landmine of infection? I want to here your thoughts on this mater, what do YOU think will happen when you chop a zombies head off.

its because of this that i like the most primitive of melee weapons. the CLUB. with a good club. you can bash in the brain case and drop the ghoul cold in its tracks just as good as a decap. you just dont have to take the extra effort to finish the head is all. its just as messy as a decapitation. but more certain the zombie will be just as dead. again.
It may be more dangerous because it still has the ability to bite and infect and is harder to see.
so both of yo think the head will still function after being cut off?
yes i do.
me too a remember and old surgical experiment a few decades back where a doctor cut of the head of one monkey and grafted it onto the body of another, the head was still alive and could move it's mouth and everything but because the spinal cord was cut couldn't do anything else. i also remember he was able to remove a monkeys brain and keep it alive artificially outside the body. man could you imagine what that must have felt like.
so as long as the brain stem isn't damaged i guess it easy possible for the head to still bite. of course an easier way then the decapitation is to get to the side of the zombie and chop at the back of the neck. you'll sever the spine either a blade or a club can do this and the zombies basically locked it. just drops to the ground and is as good s dead the head will still move but because it's attached to the body no ones going to miss it. zombie will probably fall face down anyway. no mus no fuse no brain mater.
the gunstock war club the native americans used in the pioneer days would be great for that. and being Cold Steel makes a virtually indestructible replica of that. it would be outstanding in that capacity.
the triangular blade can sever the spinal cord and not remove the head from the body at all. ZGB tested this on one of their zombie heads a while back and even they found how effective these were as a melee weapon against the undead. i own one myself and i must say that they are one of my better investments as far as a melee weapon goes. so much so that i even bought the ball head war club as a backup if i ever lost the gunstock club in a fight or forgot it in an emergency escape. i gotta say i love them both.
I have mixed emotions about the function of a decapitated zombie head. I really hope that once severed the zombie head would cease moving and attacking. Books and movies have shown that a severed head will still bite and yearns for human flesh.
yeah i think it depends on where the head is cut off and how much of the spine is left intact. but it hink it will still move.
as scarey as it would be. i to do hope that like with us. once the spinal cord is severed. then all functions cease to work. but on the other hand. i still feel that a severed head will be a land mine waiting to happen if the time to do the double tap so to speak is not taken. at least with a good club. you can bash the back of the neck. sever the spine with the broken neck bones and the head be still attached to the shoulders. this in a way just answered a nagging question i had since the season finally of season 2 of TWD. remember when Daryl came across the man that they were gonna execute that was a walker? when Daryl examined the body after taking him out. he discovered that the mans neck had been broken. well how can a walker with a broken neck get up and walk if the spinal cord is severed by the broken bones? answer. the spinal cord was not fully severed. it was enough to kill him the first time. but NOT enough to keep him from walking. so if a club is used. then i would say 2 whacks to the back of the neck to be sure it stays down. then use something to mark the body in question for the disposal teams to finish off if you are working in a sweep and clear team to make a permanent base. something like spray paint or paint ball marker. see Saint. lol. your beloved paint gun did come in handy after all. lol.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
