YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
When the undead have risen to feed on the living and you just emptied your last AR mag you'll be glad you have the 5.11 KOLD Khukri blade at your side. The Knife Of the Living Dead is the slicing and dicing weapon of choice for close-quarter-combat with flesh-eating zombie hordes. They are no match for the 10.86" modified khukri blade with its dorsal fangs, perforating pommel, and talon-tipped handle guard. Rest assured zombie hunters, 5.11 is equipping you to Always Be Ready™ even when you have to face armies of brain sucking living dead.
When you're not fighting the great fight, the KOLD Khukri also makes an excellent woodsman's tool and is perfect for other heavy duty cutting tasks around the compound. The 6mm AUS8 blade will prevail against virtually all organic subjects and the custom ABS sheath allows multiple carry options to ensure it is always at hand.
Designed by Mike Vellekamp, this custom zombie slasher is limited to 1,000 pieces and is only available through 5.11 Tactical. Check out the new issue of Knives Illustrated to learn more about this awesome tool.
NOW WHAT SAY YOU TO MY NEWEST ZOMBIE KILLING TOOL???? MUHAHAHAHA I SAY, "ZOMBIES BE GONE!"

"ZOMBIES BE GONE!" I would like to see if the knife could puncher the undead zombie skull.
I believe it would based on the designer's intent for the weapon, and the barbs would rip out or scramble anything inside the skull. >-) Drive it through the eyes or up through the nose, and you'll be in the frontal lobe. The barbs will hook and you'll have "a Zombie by the nose!" MUHAHAHAHA
i wouldn't use this thing to stab, those barbs will act like a fish hook and dig in, it would be a pain to get back out. besides the kukri has always been a hack and slash type weapon. use it to sink into the skull or cut off the head. thats where the profile shines. you want a quick one hit kill ready for the next. you don't want to be trying to pry your blade out of the first zombie as the other three shambles descend on you. still it looks awesome. but i'm worried about these weapons that are sold as zombie killers. i think they design them more to look cool then be functional. i don't want a wall hanger i want a work horse. i want to be able to chop wood, hack apart doors, drive nails with it all day long and still be able to Cleve a zombie head from it;s shoulders in one swing, with a cut like glass. so can this do it?!
So I talked to Mike, who designed the blade for 5.11 Tactical and here's what he had to say (besides the fact that he'll sign one for me :-) --
"Good morning Tex,
Thank you much for your interest in my knife design! The KOLD zombie knife offered by 5.11 Tactical was really meant to be a fun, out of the box project with also a useful product in mind. I have taken the knife into the woods and hacked through some 4 inch round trees, and I was pretty impressed...I think it would split a skull with no problem! Also, the tines on the back spine of the knife make for a really nasty back-swing:) The blade is a very stout 6mm thick. AUS 8 is also a very good stainless steel and will reach a hardness of 58 HRC, and the blade should be very tough in that condition and retain a good edge."
That being said, swinging through dead tissue and the spine should be trivial... making beheading a free-for-all-killa-fest.
Dual-Wielding a couple of stout blades, in extremely proficient hands, would be quite interesting.
Planning on taking several blades back with me when I re-deploy. I've frequently used knives over the years and had occasions where I wished for a couple of blades like this one. It's not all missiles and drones... not yet anyway.
Can't wait to test it for myself.
wow i was almost on board until he talked about dual wielding, anybody who thinks dual wielding anything is a good idea drops a few points on my reliability scale. it does have some good information in it but i'd have to hold it for my self or at the very least see some videos of it being tested.
I agree with you because i am not going to put my life on the line.
yup though i wouldn't mind checking it out if i had the cash, i am a sucker for a cool blade.
This knife is really funky looking. It would go great in my zombie killing collection!
I found this Zombie killing knife on ebay!

--Only listing with real 7 strand paracord 550 lock lanyard--
--Black savage/Black legion/United cutlery living dead AUS8 stainless steel machete--
My stock is all personally checked for any MAJOR defects.
I also check for handle looseness ( and tighten them if needed) and do a quick
sharpening run on many of these so my buyers gets them good and sharp.
My orders are bubble wrapped for protection during shipment.
If you buy this from another seller they may not check them for you.
The stock box for these is to small for them so they tend to come out of the box
with a badly bent sheath tip. I remove them from the box and fix this problem
so they arrive to my buyers as they should..
I have recently had a chance to field test these machetes and I was VERY happy with
their functionality. We used it to chop down a tree about the size of my leg and it performed
like a AXE which is not what machetes are designed for. We could take 3 inch deep cuts
with a single swing. It was truly awesome how it worked. After abusing the machete to see
what it could do it was still in perfect working order. No paint wear or handle issues. The edge also
held it's sharpness through out or test.
25" inches overall length
18" inch blade
Bolt down rubberized handle
Reinforced nylon sheath with
belt loop and shoulder strap.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
