According to TheWrap.com AMC’S hit show The Walking Dead could end its third season with more total viewers than network TV powerhouses like Modern Family and Big Bang Theory.
No cable series has ever finished at the top of the ratings wars over an entire season, and so if The Walking Dead pulls it off this will be an earthshaking moment in television history.
And The Wrap thinks it’s going to happen:
“There is reason to believe they can – because the audience for The Walking Dead has grown like a horde of zombies.”
Don’t forget that TWD’s season 3 premiere aired against Sunday Night Football in much of the U.S., and it isn’t even carried by satellite provider Dish. Still, it broke all time ratings records for a single episode.
Just another clear sign that the zombie plague can’t be stopped!
