BUG OUT TEST
OK, I actually found this on another site. I really think it is a good test for all who want to be prepared. So I am posting it here....With my luck someone else may have posted it...(LOL) But hey, it's cool...Let me know your time...I've also included this on the West Tennessee Sektor pages. That's how much I liked this test....
Situation: You have 1 minute (of REAL time) to gather whatever you can at where ever you are RIGHT now and make a run for it.
Set your timer for 1 minute.
What do you grab?

It actually took us, (my wife/me and our two kids) 3 minutes to get our things round up, but the time from getting the stuff and to the car was 6 minutes. Not bad for a fat ass man, chunky 7 yr old, 15 year who can careless and a wife who only has one leg. I always teaser about working at IHOP...(LOL)

I did try this with just me. In one minute I was able to grab my pack, weapon (which was a baseball bat for now.), and a coat and was at the car getting in when the timer on the watch went off...So it can be done...Yes my little fat ass was able to move that quick....(ROFLMAO)

I know this test seems crazy because of the time limit. But if you stop and think about it, we all believe we're prepared for Z-poc, so if we are, we should have our packs ready to go and our weapons close at hand. Basically this test is nothing more then a test to see if you are ready if a natural disaster or Z-poc happens. And after close examination, I'm not as prepared as I thought I was. So it opened my eyes to where my pack and my weapons should be...
I hope everyone had fun trying this and learned something about what they need to do...

i did this in a minute forty seconds. my B.O.B. is in the hall closet fully loaded for at least a three day suppy of needed things and my rifle with it. and since i have a ccw permit, my handgun is ALWAYS on me no matter what. it only leaves my body when i go to sleep and never out of reach at that. it only took me 40 seconds to get the rifle and pack and 1 minute to get to the car. not bad for an out of shape crazy man. lol. i to can move my big ass when i gotta. lol. i learned survival is my top priority because unlike a natural disaster or a z-poc. i am on the endangered species list being there is only one Rhino and tons of undead. so unlike a zombie, my big butt comes first and Mr. Zombie can eat lead. lol.

no good, I got a sword, a lighter, a few clothes in a bag...I'll be the first to admit I'm not ready yet lol...come Oct. Ill get my B.O.B, have it stocked and ready to roll...

part of the reason it took me an extra 40 seconds was because we have a rather long disabled ramp that leads from the porch to the drive way where the car is. about 30 foot of "L" shaped ramp to be exact. so it does take a bit of time for me. but the thing is with me. when i hit the door and the zombies are in the yard. it will be a strait run and my guns will be blazing my path for me. so the extra 40 seconds dont really mean that much. so i think i did a pretty good job myself. and Komrad Wayne. being your fairly light right now. i dont doubt you could do it pretty fast. my whole ruck weighs a total of 50 pounds. so that to is what i think added to my extra time. but all in all. i would say a minute 40 would be a good time for the average person.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive
Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game.
