Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Well I be new here so thought I would take this moment to say howdyado.

Anyone here got tattoos? Big interest of mine, the art people wear on their bodies. I have a fair amount of work done on my body. Mostly my arms, ranging from samurais, to skulls, masks, angels, , dragons, panthers and tribal stuff (all have meaning). A majority of my tattoos can be seen in my photo albums on here:

I'd be curious to see any of yours too. Let's get a tatts discussion going (if one doesn't exist already, in which case, my bad)

Those are some wicked tattoos!

Thanks man. I have an awesome artist :D You have any ink?

I figured there would be another topic (my bad). Looks cool, your tatt. Unique style going on there. You getting the same breed of bird around it? Or something different? Look forward to seeing that healed. Never seen water colour stylings before.

All mine are grey scale with a splash of colour. I'm a huge fan of shading which is why I spent ages looking for an artist that specialised in it (took me 6 years to find one I liked).

I plan on getting more stuff done. on the same arm as the angel piece (as it's a memorial piece), I plan to get wreaths and roses (all greyscale) with one coloured red rose in the centre to contrast with the red of the mask on the outer forearm of my other sleeve. I also plan on getting a tiger or lion as a backpiece. I love tatts. Going to have a peep at the others in that link you posted aswell. :D

Jeez! You guys make me feel entirely too paranoid. I'd never post identifying features. I WISH I was that chill lol.

Thank you. :D Yeah they do look good. You wouldn't believe my hannya mask piece was my tattooists first colour piece would you. Also he had only been tattooing for about 4 years at that time.

I have four small ones. BFF and music notes on my right wrist, a comic style cat with “daddy” under it on my left. On the top part of my left wrist it says “my father's pride my mother's miracle, I am bound to myself by love.”

It's my personal tradition to get tatted everytime I move past an era in my life. To seal this tradition I want these four updated. The BFF is graffitti style with a heart so I'd like it shaded in and turn the heart into a butterfly. Best friends fly. The music notes I want turned into comic style zombie faces. The cat into a rabbit and have “Day” put under “Daddy's”.......kinda like a harken to humping like rabbits on father's day and since that tat is kiddy fonted it's like an ode to wanting to a family. I also want certain words in the one tat inked out so it'll read “my pride is my miracle I am bound to myself by love.” Then have a box with “LIFE's” under it. Like an answer key kinda thing. Substitue LIFE's where the blacked outboxes are and my tattoo will read “My life's pride, my life's miracle, I am bound to myself by love.”

They're my babies; I look forward to updating but my bestie doesn't like tattoos.....and I want him to pay for it.
I want 8 more too...

That doesn't help. Plus I'm nervous. My tats are very small and simple and with the updates and additions I'll practically have wraps on my hands and forearms.

I wanna tell my life story. When I put my hands fingertips to fingertips, I want a double barrel shotgun shooting gun mechanism parts and smoke then I want the smoke to turn into pellets. The pellets will be on my pinky, some of them connect the dot 9's. (The number 9 that is.) Same for the other pinky. Then those pellets turn into a bunch of straight lines along the side of my hand which then blow smoke that reads “Prima Donna”.

So it's like the shotgun shoots out parts and pellets, the dots are connected, I straighten up, now I'm a Prima Donna. Everyone else can blow me. Kinda jazzy if I do say so myself. ^_^

Wow you have some interesting ideas for tatts man. The interlocked fingers one sounds awesome. I have a friend who has an interlocking hand tatt. It's a pretty mental looking design. I like the fact that it only makes sense when interlocked. Alas, I'm not bold enough to get my hands tattooed. I want to keep them "coverable" because bosses over here are a bit ass-like when it comes to visible ink.

I too have mine representing various chapters of my life. I have a dragon upper sleeve with the mask and samurai and the meanings all kinda connect. I came from a real shit childhood. Had a whole lot going on whilst growing up and had the dragon to represent strength, the samurai to represent discipline and the hannya mask to watch my back and ward off evil. The two skulls on my lower wrist represent the passing of two good friends. One passed in a fatal car accident and the other commited suicide.

The angel is a commemorative memorial piece for my late grandparents who were like second parents to me growing up. The panther I had done to commemorate my cat who got hit by a car. He was my little homie.

I would never get a tattoo done that didn't mean anything. This is why I don't regret any of mine because they all represent something in my life. Which I guess is why it pisses me off when people say I'm gonna regret them. Because I'm quite a large guy too, having sleeves does get me a lot of judgemental looks.

Thanks! I dreamed up the idea whilst browsing tattoo photos. Yeah, I'm not sure about the hand portions either. I used to doodle clothing designs so I thought in a business setting I could make gloves like, my thing, my fashion statement..uber play it off lol. I'm still not sure though. Your friends tat sounds really cool! I sketch my own designs so I wasn't quite artsy enough to do the interlocking version but it's SO cool to hear another person has it. Your friend makes me feel awesome like, yeeehp ah!...I'm ALMOST that cool.

And, I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I come from a large family and the thing about having people born in clusters is they go in clusters. I know how it feels to lose people close to you and I just try to find beauty in life and seek out new experiences. Allow myself to mourn but also still live a full life. It helps.

I love the idea within your dragon tat. Especially the samurai aspect I have such a high respect for that craft and way of life and hey! I'll let you in on a little secret.

*leans in close*

Girls actually like bigger guys. They make us feel safe and loved.

It is cool the interlocking stuff. I mean, if I ever won the lottery (doubtful lol) and never had to work for anyone else again, I'd get something like that done for sure. But I have to be responsible (dammit lol).

The gloves thing could work though, depending on the type of work you do and how cool your boss is. Again, bosses over here are pretty stringent with appearance at work (yawn)

It's cool, I don't get too down about things. I am a pretty upbeat person. I try not to let things get to me. I don't feel sorry for myself. I definitely don't have the shortest stick of the draw. I got the tattoos to remember these people and to as you say, tell my life story. Can't think of a better analogy than that.

The samurai tatt is most definitely my joint favourite along with the angel piece. Just because they look the best and they have the deepest meanings. The samurai represents some pretty dark days too, which I'm not really going to go into on here but I would say I'm a disciplined guy these days. I have strong will power :D

I guess some women like a big guy but not the ones that took my fancy. Though saying that I don't 'alf pick em. lol.

Pff. They adored you women are shy.

My job is really...different. I mostly work from home but I occassionaly have to hold meetings and things of that nature and I sorta try to set standards but, it's strict in that setting and it's probably best I don't get them.

What I've learned about strength and endurance is that suffering is the best teacher. I can normally will myself through it but the past week or so I've been tanking. Discilipine for me was to control the amount of myself I projected on others, good or bad energy but...lately I've been a complete mess. I don't have the energy to smile anymore but it's really comforting for me to hear someone who's gone through some stuff and is still positive by nature. Most people have a blind eye to the human condition it's nice to be understood and it's better to have the upbeat atmosphere.

lol. Nah I got pretty much put straight. At least by one of them anyways. One of them was a great deal shorter than me. I'm over 6 foot and I have what people describe as a rugby player build? She was 5 foot on the dot and a few years older. She was self conscious about the size difference so it went the complete opposite way in that exchange. lol. But whatever, shit happens right?

Yes, I do agree on that point. Matches a saying I use on a regular basis. You can only truly appreciate the finer points of life once you have experienced pain.

Things may suck at the minute, but things turn around. We all fluctuate. If we all plateaued and didn't experience any downturns, we'd never learn anything and we'd all be obnoxious self absorbed brats. That's the way I think about things when life throws me a kick in the balls.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
