i like the .223 in a bolt action. RUGER and REMINGTON make some awsome bolt actions in that calier. i have a Remington 700 BDL in that and the .243 caliber as well. the 243 rifle i use at my local gun clubs long range compititions.

Currently own: AMD-65 (7.62x39), Glock-17 (9mm), AT-22 (.22), Springfield 1861 rifled musket (.58 minie ball)
Currently in the market for: M1 Ganand (.30-06), M1 carbine (.30 carbine), K98k (7.92x57), Mosin-Nagant M91/30 (7.62x54), Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I(.303), etc, etc,... (I just got my C&R license recently).
and probably need a Mossberg 500.

my absolute dream weapon has always been the STYER AUG. i first saw this thing at a gun show in my teen years and had a love for it since. even fired one. the .223 Remington caliber in this gun is just totally sweet. when my FFL comes in. this is the first on my wish list. i do give one thing to the M16. it is accurate. but this one has it way beat in that field.
