Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

We all know that we have labels.

Some of us are freaks, weirdos, nerds, crazy, badass, loners, etc...

And to fit into an everyday society, be it for jobs, parents, kids or just life in general outside the comfort of your own home we all have to cover up our personal quirks.

What I want to know is what do you hide and how do you hide it?

Are you good at hiding in plain sight?

Or do you say "fuck it" and let your "freak flag" fly loud and proud?

I ask because I was intrigued by the lastest video I've seen of Rick Genest aka Zombie Boy.

Some of you probably have heard about him, or seen his photos all over the net.

He's covered the vast majority of his body in tattoos to resemble a rotting human cadaver or zombie. And in my opinion is one of the most beautiful living works of art I've ever laid eyes on.

I'll also proudly say he's Canadian, born and tattooed in Montreal, Quebec.

Although the video is an advertisement for concealer (makeup) it's amazing to see what Zombie Boy looks like if he wanted to hide himself from society.

Check it out.

I try to be as honest and open as I can be, but I am a strange person with some hard-to-explain ideas floating in my head.

Hiding who I am saves people the issue of trying to understand every aspect of my personality.

I'll cover my tattoos, take out my piercing and dress to society's standards in the public eye.

I'll think before I speak and analyze who I'm talking to before I bring up certain topics, if I decide to go for more of a shallow conversation of inane topics such as weather, or the latest sports team.

But every now and again, it's a fantastic feeling to turn heads, bug out eyes, and drop jaws at an off the cuff remark or even get to parade in my favorite attire and decoration ;)

i am who i am. i never hide. i am always out in the open be it how i talk. how i dress. how i think and how i feel. i dont believe in masks or total conformity. the only thing i require is the same respect to me that you would have given to yourself. i only have one tattoo at present. its my KOMRADZ tattoo that goes down my arm. and as i wear the KOMRAD title before my name with pride. so do i display my tattoo. i dont hide i am a komrad therefor i dont hide my tattoo. when asked about it (and i do get asked about it a lot). i tell what it is and why i wear it and what it means to me to be a komrad. they can like it or not. it is my badge i wear with honor and pride and will die under its name. that simple. as for my way of thinking. it reflects in some simple rules or a creed if you will and they are as follows.

I WONT BE LIED TO. I WONT BE WRONGED. I WONT BE INSULTED. AND I SURE AS HELL WONT BE LAYED A HAND UPON. I DONT DO THESE THINGS TO OTHERS AND I WILL DIE AND BURN IN HELL WHERE I STAND BEFORE THEY ARE DONE TO ME!

this creed if you will is like being a komrad. its a way of life. and i defend them both with all i am and all i ever will be.

I wouldn't say I hide who I am, but because of the career field I am in I do have to tone myself down for at least 8 hours. Now I don't change how I speak or the fact I speak my mind. But I do have to act more cheerful and professional (yes I have the whole smile in my voice down cold)...after all who would want to check in to a hotel where the guy at the desk looks and sounds like he doesn't give a shit about you and how your day/life is going. Lol
hidden faces run deeper then some think.
its how you censor your actions around others, your feelings.
i think i understand where Koma is comming from.
we all hide the "freak" in us around those that we feel can not handle it.
sad ain't it....

That was exactly my point... some people have so many levels to their psyche it's hard to tell whether they are who they say they are.

I know that I have many different faces, it's all a matter of who you are to me and what mood I'm in that day to say who you truly are speaking to.

I've been told it takes years to scratch my surface before someone can honestly predict and 'know' me.

I'm still waiting on other tactics, darlin...

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
