Resident Evil: Revelations’ Large Storyline Is The Reason For Its L...

This summer will see the release of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. The game will include a playable demo for Resident Evil: Revelations, which is scheduled to hit sometime in 2012. Up until this time, we’ve been seeing a lot of content from Mercs 3D, while information on Revelations has been hard to come by. There has been some snippets, though, like the fact that Capcom is going into this project with the mindset being to deliver the next numbered sequel in the franchise. Now we have another short dose of new information for the game that also tells us why development on the title is taking up a good amount of time.

In a recent interview held between the game’s producer Masachika Kawata and Planet3DS, we’ve received the revelation that Revelations will have a huge focus on its storyline; a narrative that will be substantial when compared to the series’ past. Once again, this signifies Capcom’s intentions with this game which are to make it feel like Resident Evil 6, despite no number tailing at the end of its title. Kawata’s statement regarding the development of Resident Evil: Revelations and its duration sums it up nicely:

It might take some time to be honest…This time, the amount of script increased significantly and it will be a lot of work. We’ll make it so it will be a real horror experience. Don’t miss it!

tell ya one thing...i fraeking hated  the last Resident Evil movie.

it just sucked...lame story plot, the efects were stupid...and alice is injected with some shit that turns her human!?

i felt cheated...want my 14 bucks back!

i admit that it sucks that Alice was turned normal again and so easily. but it was not that bad.

No no no, Rum, you shouldn't hate just the last movie. It's generally a spike up the ass for any sensible Resident Evil fan because it follows no story. It simply uses the name, zombies, mutated zombies and Tyrants, as well as later in the series (I.E. the latest) adding creatures from RE5. It rips apart the story line, and you wouldn't believe how many times I've seen idiots enter a conversation I'm having about Resident Evil talking about how they don't know why Jill wasn't in the third movie even though she was in the second, and how Alice is their favorite character of the Resident Evil series. And mind you, that already makes me wish I could legally bludgeon their skull against a wall before staking it into the coffee stand in front of me, but when I ask them if they've ever played the game they always have one of two replies. The easiest one for me to take, even though I've more than unwillingly spent a few nights grinding my nails through the palms of my hand because of it, is this, "Oh yeah! I'm awesome at that game! I wish they'd make a second one, though." However, the one that gets under my nails is simply three words, "There's a game?" Fuck people are gonna end up making me pick up smoking again.

As for the hunk of shit they're throwing us now, I wouldn't trust Capcom with knowing where the fuck it's ass was. Hell, actually I think I would because that's where they're wiping my years that I invested into them because of those fucking games. Its like they took Code Veronica, threw a new cover on it, snapped the game in half and  then got half of Halo, used paper tape to try and keep that flimsy piece of shit together, then the shove those glassy shards of lost hopes and dreams that RE fan's had right up their ass to mix it with a fresh coat of blood and shit and toss it into the game case before saying "There's Resident Evil 4."

When RE5 came out they simply just started to a circle jerk before coating the game they didn't even bother to fix in their semen and just saying 'Think this is good enough?' before the creators say 'Nah' and finally just let several dogs, a cat in heat and a horse have their way with the CD before stuffing the shattered pieces into a case and shipping it off.

I've lost all faith in Capcom. They have one chance. ONE CHANCE. To regain back my fandom. That is through Operation Raccoon City. If it has enough horror and I actually have to work to survive then I'm gonna be all over that game. I just wish they'd bring back puzzles.

ROFLMAO!! thats what i love about you brother. always waving the flags of discontent. lol.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
