MTV's Death Valley
Ok, now NORMALLY, I hate all things MTV. But I heard about this new horror series airing soon and I decided to check it out for laughs. But lo and behold, I was very surprised by the trailer. This show has zombies, vampires and werewolves, not to mention BLOOD AND GORE! AND IT'S AN MTV SHOW!!! I'm still a little skeptical, but I might check this out. Here's the full summary and trailer and tell me your thoughts about it.
A year ago, vampires, werewolves and zombies mysteriously descended upon the streets of California's San Fernando Valley. Death Valley is the dark comedy that follows the cops that capture the monsters, and the camera crew that captures the cops.
Follow the horrific yet comedic exploits of the newly formed Undead Task Force (UTF), a division of the LAPD created to combat the emergence of monsters in the San Fernando Valley. Death Valley showcases the outrageous and courageous men and women working the toughest beat in the US: Death Valley.
Balancing dark humor with horror, the show is built upon cold-blooded conflict and character driven comedy, following the cops bent on keeping the streets safe from the presence of the paranormal. Documenting each case of zombie, vampire and werewolf encounter is the daring camera crew that is embedded within the task force, quickly revealing that the monster problem goes much deeper than anyone could have possibly imagined.
Full of subtext about living in today's insane world, Death Valley is at its core a fun, non-stop thrill ride featuring chases, hardcore kills, and extraordinary creatures. The zombies are disgusting, menacing and brutal, the vampires are dangerous, smart and powerful and the werewolves are beastly and insane. From "blood-for-sex" prostitution busts to undead traffic jams, every call from dispatch will take you to a place you've never been: right to the bleeding heart of Death Valley.

it sounds good and i hope it goes well but like you i can't stand MTV so watching it will be rather hard for me lol unless i find it on-line somewhere

Yeah, it's anybody guess at this point how much this show can deliver, especially when it's an MTV show. Maybe they're trying something different for a change, but I'm not holding my breath either. I'll give it a view and draw my own conclusion. Also, here's the link to when the show will air.

well, I will go into it not with the pre-judged notion that "oh its MTV" even though, yea they suck balls...but well see...I dont know about anything that tries to combine all 3, zombies vamps and wolves...I smell over the top...but I will check it out...

I just seen the previews to it umm it kinda looks good but Rhino is right it doesn't look nothing close to good as The Walking Dead..

All the skeptism is understandable cuz it's not usual the MTV would air a show like this and what made them decide on it. Maybe they've been losing viewers for airing the same types of shows and barely showing any music videos so maybe this is a new step in direction. If the show's good, they should continue to try to improve.

as much as i studied the trailer. i just dont think its gonna be my kind of show. if it were dealing with just zombies and a zombie outbreak. then yes, i would be more in its corner. the thing with me is it has werewolves and vampires thrown into the mix as well. i HATE vamps anymore and TOLERATE the whole werewolf thing. they been played out to the point of no return. i just cant get into the mixing of the three. so until they got something that deals with zombies alone. i will stick with my very treasured The Walking Dead. that show rules the air.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive
Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game.
