Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

OK, so in all the movies, a person can grab a weapon they've never used and score head shots while running and hit moving targets. Good for them! Now to the real world... You need to practice a bit before youre doing that.

Komrads, train with your weapons when you can, Ive had to run and do an obsticle course then fire an M9 pistol... with your body aching, heart racing and gasping for air.... your aim is no where near as good as it is usualy is!  Train your body as well as your mind. Knowledge will lead to survival. Teaching yourself new tasks will be very valuable. Learn from your fellow Komrads... we are a wide variety of individuals, from many different backgrounds, each bringing somthing to the group, no matter how small it might seem.

In the aftermath, it would be important for us to know survial skills including hunting/fishing (and dressing the game), gardening, food canning, etc, etc.... Mechanical skills will be needed for any vehicles inthe group... basic carpentry for rebuilding things... the list goes on and on...

Post what you feel could be somthing you have knowlegde of, or ask for some information that you want to know about and maybe a fellow Komrad will lead you in the right direction.

agreed. as i am the only one in my household who thinks that there may be an uprising of the dead. i tend to have to train alone. what i been mainly working on is my endurance. i have dropped a lot of my weight compared to what i was in the past. but i need to drop more and i am doing so little by little. i am also working on my melee weapon skills. my training with firearms has gone as far as i can go with it. so its those 2 things i am left to work on. maybe when my girl and i get married. i can get her to train with me. i already know she wants to train with a firearm because we talked about it and when her citizenship is secured, getting her CCW permit. i know she would help me with the endurance training because she tends to work out herself and when i was over in her country, she helped me lose a but load of weight and strengthen my heart a great deal. so i think she will help in these things even if she won't believe there will be an undead uprising in the future.

I will go to the range with some other people, but they are not as worried about Z's or anything like that, some of them do accept that some type of "event" can happen, i.e. riots, revolution, home grown terrorism...

Unfortunatly they dont want to do any field manuvers (other than some WWII reenactments LOL).

I am actually going to start physically training myself to get into better shape, with the help of a few others.

a good start would be taking up running Komrad-been doing it for 4 years and it has helped in all aspekts of my life not just health wise
Yes, I'll be doing that... but I hate running... it was the worst part of being in the Army. But I will have some help to get me motivated. I am also training for the Tough Mudders event down here in FL in December. Here is the link http://toughmudder.com/  My friend runs alot so she'll help me out with that part.

Thanks, but Ive got alot of work ahead of me!

Plus it benefits the Wounded Warrior Foundation, so thats whats motivating me.

Here is a Boot Camp I found in the Bronx.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
