Bloody-Disgusting writes: Legendary Itaian producer Dino De Laurentiis has passed away in Los Angeles, reports the Italian outlet Ansa.it. He was 91. His real name was Agostino De Laurentiis. Over the course of a half century he produced or executive produced nearly 500 films including Hannibal Rising, Red Dragon, Hannibal, Army of Darkness, Cat's Eye, King Kong, King Kong Lives ("when Kong dies, you cry"), Maximum Overdrive, Silver Bullet, Dune, The Dead Zone and Amityville II: The Possession, just to name a few.
