YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Bloody Disgusting has confirmed exclusively that Mark Wahlberg was offered the lead role in Relativity Media's The Crow, a remake of the 1994 film that starred Brandon Lee as a man (Eric Draven) brutally murdered that comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancée's murder. The film was an adaptation of James O'Barr's incredible comic series. Iconic musician and acclaimed screenwriter Nick Cave has been working on a rewrite with Stephen Norrington (Blade, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen ) attached to direct. The new tale is said to take place in Detroit. Now, the offer has been made, therefore Wahlberg could (and hopefully will) decline. I can't say this news has me swimming in excitement.

more news

Bloody-Disgusting writes: Right off the heels of our announcement that Mark Wahlberg was offered the role of Eric Draven in Relativity's remake of The Crow, Mania is reporting that Stephen Norrington has exited the project (yikes!) "I can tell you I'm no longer involved," he told the site adding that an unnamed star had gotten involved with the movie. The star supposedly loved Norrington's vision and wanted to work with him, but then rejected the Norrington/Cave script and asked for a completely new take from a completely new writer. "As I had gotten involved explicitly as a writer-director my exit was inevitable. I was bummed. I had developed a genuinely authentic take that respected the source material while moving beyond it, and Nick Cave came in and added more depth." With this news, it's sounding as if The Crow has returned to the grave.
You work fast Freak!
BD has never let me down yet
in the world of remakes, this one is no real shocker. its gonna suck though.
WTF!?! OMG!!!

i can't even stand to think about it!

how can Brandon Lee be bettered or replaced? this would be rediculous
its like i said before when it comes to remakes. some movies cant be beat or equaled by a remake. my grandfather said it best in my opinion when it comes to remakes.

you cant polish a turd and not get messy hands.

and thats all advertising for certain remakes is. taking a classic. reshooting it. and using the name of the classic to polish it. in the end its still a turd.

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
