i fish but not on a regular basis. i mostly fish for catfish. i love the taste of them and i love the fight they give when hooked. all i use is two kinds of bait, one natural and one i make. one is a night crawler covered in all natural garlic. i even mix garlic powder in the dirt they live in and eat. reason being that catfish love to bite on things with a strong scent being a scavenger fish. garlic is the strongest natural scent i know and they hit on it like crazy mad. i got a four footer out of the ohio river last summer with that mix. the next is a killer dough ball i make myself. the mix is below for those who want to try that to.

dough ball mix

1) one can of sweet yams
2) instant idaho spuds
3) strawberry jello
4) box of wheaties cerial
5) corn flakes
6) strawberry liquer or consintrate
7) shredded pineapple drained
8) flour (hold to the side for later)

mix ingreediants all ingreediants together in a large mixing bowl except flour. when mixed, if the mix is to soft use the flour a little bit at a time till the mix is firm. keep cold in the fridge and when fishing, keep in the bait cooler when not in use. when you bait the hook, use enough of the dough ball mix to cover the hook. the catfish will hit this hard because of the smell of the strawberry. in some cases even a few game fish will hit if they are feeding on the bottom.
4 Feet? That's a big ass catfish I usually go for carp and pike the biggest carp I've caught was this monster 3 footer bastard almost snapped my rod corn works best for carp I usually chum 'em by throwing in corn that get's 'em excited then just throw in a line and guide your corn covered hook through the swarm and you'll get a hit
i like carp. they put up a good fight when hooked. the ohio river has some huge carp there to. i caught a three and a half footer out of there just last week on a fishing trip. my surf pole had a really good workout that day. took a good 40 minutes to tire it out to bring in. thank god for piano wire. #7 wire will hold a good size fish. my aunt and uncle go to florida once every summer and use a surf pole with the same wire line on it to shark fish. it was good enough to pull a ten foot bull shark out of the water so a carp would have been nothing. lol.
See I've always wanted to fish gar how big do they get, and which states are they in?
that's kickass you know what the test on that line is? Because I've used 20 pound and caught some 40 some odd pound fish with my medium/heavy shakespeare rod oh also I went fishing yesterday before I got my burns and I caught this monster King Salmon the fucker was huge weighed a good 43 pounds god damn it took forever to tire him out and get this I was in a fucking kayak I almost flipped like 4 times and got pulled a fucking mile down the coast thank christ he didn't swim out into the lake
i do that with both chicken livers and gizzards. the gizzards work the best if you use this kind of bait. reason being they are tougher and hang on the hook longer.
I haven't fished since the mid 90's! I used to fish the Pacific or in the streams of Ojai in Los Padres Natl Forest. Stream fishing is the best IMO!

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
