Animal Zombies?

I would imagine the zombie virus being transmitted through humans only. Undead animals though would almost certainly eradicate the last living humans and make survival almost impossible if ALL living things were susceptible to the virus. I do love the way animals at least dogs and crows are used in the RE universe.
Entertain the thought of all differnt kinds of animals eating infected flesh and becoming rabid like ala RE crows and going apeshit attacking live humans! Those mofos would be in a world of hurt!!!!!!

i got to hand it to the RE universe when it came to the crows. reason being, i always thought that a buzzard would be the kind of bird to turn. but when i thought more on it. it makes sence because its a birds nature to go for the eyes on any living thing including their own kind. dogs to would be the next best thing to turn because a domesticated dogs will eat things a wild dog would ignore all together. so i must give this "wake up" award to the RE universe.

hey! i forgot to mention something. they have come out with another Resident Evil. it takes place where the survivors left off looking for the "infection free" zone in Alaska. come to find out it was only partly true. it was all a set up by The Umbrella Corp. as a trap. well i think i said enough plot line wise. dont wanna mess it up for anyone. right now they are only talking Imax release. but i do think it will be released to regular movie theaters to.

when i saw this trailer at the movies i just about flipped. i love Resident Evil. the games. the movies. i love it all.

zombie animal would be terrify but we can assume that animals natural ability's would be reduced in the same way a zombie humans would. they would be slow moving and lack much strength. a zombie gorilla breaking out from the zoo probably won't happen as even normal ones can not escape with the strength they have now. so a zombie would have no chance. Birds would probably lose the ability to fly as it takes an amazing amount of strength and coordination that i doubt a zombie would have. not to mention decay and rotting of feathers. insects would be the worst but flying ones would probably have the same inability to take off as birds leaving them all but useless. so no zombie Mosquitoes., tics and other blood suckers would be the real threat. but they are so small the effects of being undead would probably leave them unable to move. as the blood that makes up most of them would become coagulated and hard. the worst part about zombie animals would be the loss of the food supply, although most animals should be quick enough to avoid getting bitten in the first place. unless this is something like an airborne virus of night of the living dead where all dead things simply come back to life regardless of what happens.
