That is so kool. You kould just hang out around zoms and they kouldnt touch you. If you kould have one with the plating made from Kevlar you wouldnt have to worry about any bullets either. Nice find. Start saving for one of those babies.

i want to get the kevlar gloves and the Hatch Centurion shin guards. they would be a totally hot addition to my tac vest.

persomaly I dont think body armor will do anything but armor for legs and arms will do well

www.approvedgasmasks.com has body armor. you can get it in sections like leg guards. or the complete outfit if you should choose to go that far.

i have even been looking into riot control shields for that "UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL" thing to go along with melee weapons.

i agree to an extent with you brother. but i also think that if you can get an extra edge then why not take it. the leg armor will protect you if you encounter a crawler you missed so it don't take a bite out of your leg. then there is something i read in a book. a new type of zombie survival guide called "The Zombie Combat Manual". it points out that regular clothing will only protect for a short time. then it will eventually give in to wear and tear making you vulnerable to infection due to defensive wounds on your arms where they will grab hold in CQC battles. when using a melee weapon, this can happen real easy to your forearms and hands. the gauntlets i pictured above will help there to protect and save your life. they are even designed to let you use your rifle, shotgun, or handgun if you need to. the shield will be a plus to when defending your home. granted it will be to bulky to take with you on the run if you need to bug out. but like other tools will give a fighting chance to live. i tend to entertain a lot of ways to stay alive. especially when there is a chance the ammo can become far and few between if not totally hard to find. also when it comes to a tac vest. they keep all your clips of ammo close at hand and at the ready. so this item will really be a must when it comes to survival be it in your home dug in or on the road during a bug out. and with your ammo close at hand, you dont have to stop to get in your pack and will make your pack lighter for more needed things.

Arm and leg protection is a must. Body protection, in my opinion, would be a waste of your energy to haul around. With the hard shell arm protectors, it would be good to whack away a zed while he tries to get at your torso anyway so why waste the valuable body space?

I have actually started to craft my own lather goods again and am currently working on bracers (fore arm guards) that are multi-layered and then will be coated with several chemicals and other things ending it all with a nice splash of fiberglass (in certain areas only)
