Tyler. believe it or not. the average civilian has better gear then the cops do weapon wise. you can even get better melee weapons then what is issued to police and local sheriff departments and thats no joke. most guys on duty carry their own gun more then the standard issue side arm. some have even taken to carrying their own rifles and shotguns because they are better. due to each states guidelines. sometimes a cop can have it better or worse. sad to say. but thats the gods honest truth.

Ah, if only it were that simple. Have at least a few melee weapons in your house. And don't be so sure your gonna get anybody safe. I only count on 1 person to be alive by the time I get to his house, and I walk up there in the chaos, his crackshot dad would gimme a few new holes on sight. But at least I KNOW he'll be safe. I kinda count on bumping into him eventually, though.

i would TOTALLY avoid the wally world thing (Walmart). everyone and their sisters cousins brother will be hitting there and for the same reasons you want to. weapons like rifles and ammo and a few food supplies. best thing i can say to you is this. scope out some local gun shops. when you got those. chose which ones you can get to the fastest and has the best selection of guns and ammo. after that. look up what some call a MOM AND POP store near by. if you can hit those first. there would be a good selection of canned and dry goods to plunder. some even sell energy bars and power drinks now. so you may wanna grab a few of those things to for quick energy when it starts to run out. also scope out the near by nursing facilities. they are a self contained hospital when it comes to pain killers, antibiotics, and bandages of all kinds and types. reason i bring up nursing facilities is because Pharmacies will be the first looted for that kind of thing. and HOSPITALS? those will be ground zero for the outbreak right along with the local jails at the sheriff's office and local police stations because law enforcement will be looking at it like civil unrest or rioting. if you want good melee weapons. i can hook ya up in the ALAMO GUNS GROUP. or you can scope out local sporting goods for things like baseball bats and such. another place you can go here is the KOMRADZ GROUP which i am a member of also. Komrad Fennek gives out free war gear for enlisting. something to consider to.

True. The main reason I'd try to get there at first would be for a few guns and some rounds but otherwise I'd probably post up somewhere else for bout a few weeks the. Go clear it out

you may wanna re-think Walmart man, cuz you and everyone else is thinking that already, when the SHTF thats the first place most people are gonna scramble too...maybe once shit clears out and dies down and you're one of the few left you could MAYBE take refuge there, but no way you can go there when it first pops off...
