The diary of an axe murderer

Eli slowly opened the door to the police station. The building was abandoned, save for the man resting on the couch in the lobby. He quietly walked over, holding his ax steady. He looked down at the man, how uncomfortable he looked, how he could have had a family before the world went to hell. Eli lifted his ax as high as he could, and dropped it, straight into the mans arm. He woke up, screaming, so Eli pulled out his ax, and hit him in the stomach. And again. Now his arms were getting tired, and the man was quiet. Not dead, but dying. Eli snuck out. He knew it was wrong, but he had cracked a long time ago. He remembered his first kill, a boy hiding in a warehouse, scratches covering him. Something just came over Eli, and he shot him. Right in the stomach. The boy was practically dead anyway. He put his ax in his head, just to be sure. Then he snuck into the club he had made his safehouse. Hes been killing ever since, zombies and humans alike. And he had no intention of stopping.
