Pain

Dear Father,

I know you are in pain

And i wish it were not so

But please dear father know

U shall get through

For you have conquered this pain before

All on your own

When u were dreary and depressed

You survived through the pain.

Father you have conquered this same pain

So surely dear father with us by your side

You can pull through

This pain will soon be nothing but a dreadful memory

But if the pain becomes too much

Know that i will be there till the very end

It will be alright if you do not succed

Just as long as you fight to live.

This poem is dedicated to my father who has been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer. He has fought this same cancer before and conquered it, i am praying he pulls through again. I hope you guys enjoy this poem.
