His ruck was already packed for the field so he didn't have to change much. It had a spare pair of combat boots, spare uniform with multiple sets of undergarments, lighters, ponchos, weapons cleaning kit, flashlights with spare batteries, 550 cord, 100 mph tape, sleeping bag and chem sticks. There was plenty of extra space to jam in some extra food and boxes of ammunition as well. All of his magazines and stripper clips in his room were loaded so he knew any extra boxes of ammunition he came across would have to be loaded into the bags so he went ahead and brought everything he found out to the others to be loaded up. Making sure they knew to divide the ammo up evenly enough that if they lost one of the bags it wouldn't have all of their ammo in it. He also gave quick instructions on how to load the bags economically so the unimportant things were in the bottom and the most important items like ammunition were easiest to get to.
The other two looked like they had enough work to keep them busy so he started making trips to his room to decide how to equip each of them for the trip. He had three pistols so that choice would be easy. He planned on leaving his XD on his hip. Between his tactical vest and his pistol belt he could hold his three sixteen round mags, three ten round magazines and his awkwardly long 30 round magazine for the 9mm pistol. He had about two hundred and fifty rounds for the pistol so there was plenty of spare ammunition to last a while.
Attached to the door of his gun safe were two other holsters holding his other two pistols. He pulled down the belt holster that held his CZ52 pistol that he planned on giving to Aidan. It had been his first pistol and it wasn't exactly pretty. He did however like the 7.62x25mm rounds that it fired. He only had three ten round magazines for the weapon but that would have to do. He did a quick count and saw that overall he had roughly 120 rounds for the pistol.
He attached the holster to the pistol belt that was on his army digital camouflaged tactical vest that he had worn over his armor in Iraq. The vest had six mag pouches on it that could hold two 30 round AR-15 magazines each. Aidan had proved to be proficient with his AR-15 in the past and Brendon figured it would give him a little bit more range than the shotgun would while they were on the move.
After checking over the vest Brendon reached into his safe and retrieved his AR-15 that he had modified to basically mirror the M-4 he had carried overseas. Brendon had seven 30 round magazines and two 40 round magazines to go along with the weapon as well as roughly 1,200 rounds.
