YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Once in the apartment Brendon saw that the other three that had traveled here with him had stacked all of their bags up in the corner of the living room. Once inside the apartment he noticed Ethan and Brian sitting on the couch both cradling shotguns and was glad to see that his two friends had made it here. Ethan had a pump action Remington 870 shotgun that Brendon had seen countless times before at trap competitions. The two had on more than one occasion competed using each others shotguns since Ethan's 870 and the one Brendon's father had allowed him to use in high school to shoot trap were completely identical. The two had eventually ended up memorizing the serial numbers on their shotguns to keep them straight. The shotgun had a long barrel intended for hunting which would make it somewhat less efficient in close quarters situations but would give it a little extra range. State law only allowed three shells in a shotgun when bird hunting but assuming Ethan had thought to remove the plug the shotgun should have been able to hold four shells in the tube and one in the chamber. Brian had a Benelli M2 semiautomatic shotgun that Brendon had seen him use before for trap shooting as well. The shotgun had a 5+1 capacity and was a hunting model with it's long barrel and wooden stock.
Brendon went and sat with his two friends and asked them both about their trips over. Brian had gotten to his vehicle and made it here without having to fire a shot but Ethan had been forced to deal with a woman that had made it into his garage. Brendon asked to see Ethan's box of shells and saw that they were steel 4 shot shells sometimes used for hunting larger birds. Ethan said that the first shot had dropped the woman from about fifteen feet away so Brendon made a mental note that 4 shot was sufficient to take them down. He had a good supply of 00 buckshot in the bags they had brought so he took some time to retrieve most of the shells and divided them up between the two.
The barricade in front of the door looked sturdy enough. Wiggins had pushed a full dresser in front of the doorway and piled some other furniture in front of the dresser to keep it from being pushed out of the way. On top of the dresser was a hammer along with some nails and boards that Brendon asked Wiggins about. It turned out Wiggins had decided to postpone boarding the door shut until everyone they had spoken to online had made it to the apartment just in case there was a problem with the ladder. Since everyone had arrived Brendon and Wiggins decided that it would be alright to go ahead and seal up the door so the two set to work nailing boards over the upper few feet of the door that the dresser didn't reach.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game.
