Broken Angels and Fallen Bones (7)

The sweet smell of treated oxygen floated into the room, goosebumps danced across his flesh as the soft hum of the A/C rattled off in the distance. Jerry laid there half asleep and half dead, or maybe he was dreaming he couldn't tell nor did he care. The bed under his body felt great and the lack of noise was what he wanted, he couldn't remember much about the car accident that put him in the hospital, but what he could recall seemed like a bad dream that happened to someone else over a hundred years ago. Jerry tugged at the sheet that covered him as he mind drifted back to the accident. It had been raining most of the day, him and the other teachers had decided to cancell the last of their classes and send the students home. The power had not been steady and no one wanted to be stuck in school during a black out with a chance of a flash flood. Helping his fourth tier class pack up and head off to their rooms, Jerry had noticed that the storm had picked up and was now moving faster.

He ran over to the direct line to the home office and warned them "I believe the storm is not natural it could be one of the students we have 5 that are capable of something like this". The voice on the other end just passed him off, gave Jerry the normal we'll look into it routine.... No one at home office took the teachers opinions seriously until they themselves got to see the subjects, well students, in action. Dropping the phone and rushing off to the parking grounds Jerry came across one of the younger kids who was lost and scared. He scooped her up in his arms and got them both out of the rain before asking her if she was from Red Campus or Blue Campus. The little girl stared at him, her eyes were devoid of any sign of childhood innocence, he could feel her pushing her way into him. Standing up Jerry tried to secure himself from the girl, running back out into the rain to put some distance between them. As he turned around, now ready to fight off his attacker with his own ability
