YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
I'm still around...Still fighting that lonely demon, but I've faced that demon many times...But that I'm actual alone, I miss the simple things that comes with being together with someone...The talking, the laughter, the feeling of warmth from holding your special someone, the simple sent of them lingering after they leaves the house, the taste of their lips, the tender ways they hold you in the darkness and the way they fall asleep on your arm while watching TV...
I reach out…

ROE is a funny thing. it's usually dictated to us by politicians in support of some far fetched and completely unrealistic agenda. but politicians don't wage war, warriors do. i've worked with guys that fought in the middle easterna conflicts that told me stories of utterly asinine rules on how they were supported to fight their battles. fucked up shit, man.
lucky for me, my first combat experience was in Siberia and our government wanted nothing more than to win. fortunately,…

i lay in the bed of a dark room, staring into the deeper darkness beyond the doorway several meters from the foot of my bed. it felt like an eternity that i laid motionless, my eyes trying to pierce the shadows before they finally parted, like a curtain between my world and one i wished i didn't know was real.
the zombie that stepped through the door had to be ten feet tall. it had to bend over to fit into the room. the revenant's clothes were in tatters, its head skinless,…

Well, not exactly. My creative partner Jenny has done a series of mermaid illustrations that challenge the traditional image of a mermaid. They are all based on species of fish indigenous to bodies of water here in the Midwest. …

My unit rotated in to clearing the business district of downtown Chicago last week. Combat units work on 1 of 4 different rotations- Security, Civilian Escort, Suburban Ops, Urban Ops, for a month or so before being reassigned. it's supposed to prevent burnout and keep us on our toes. It remains to be seen how effective it is. So far, I've only been on Sweep and Clear Operations.
Remember how much i bitched about standard urban ops dealing with Romeo? I should've kept my…

Been roaming the net checking out these sites with Zombie Survival Lists...I've been to actual Survival Sites to the CDC website to even Store sites in which they claim to have the best survival lists throughout the world...
And from what I've seen on all these sites, even the CDC so-called Disaster Lists, that everyone of them are trying to give good advice, but most of their advice and suggestions are so bogus that no wonder people are confused on where to start or…

Hey Guys,
Well, I'm back...They buried grandma next to grandpa after a heated bit of major family drama...In 96 we moved to TN and since then, the only real ties I had in Champaign, Il, was my grandmother...Well no that she's gone, I don't really feel like my hometown is home anymore...It was just a place I was raised...Yes I do have uncle's and cousins and family living up there, but I've never been close to them even when growing up...
So now with grandma gone,…

My name is Avery. I never told any of the people I know, or once knew, what my last name was because how things are now, it just doesn't seem to matter at all. The group I traveled with had grown then decreased and increased again. I remember all their names: Justin, Alex, Holly, Joel, Jenny, Zackary, and Keith had been the first people I traveled with. Then we came across the group from Ohio, but only a few of them joined us later on which was Evan, Drew (the scientist's twin brother), and…

I'm new here, joined to make friends and to announce my book. I'd like to make new friends with people who have similar interests, in this case it's zombies. I actually just recently published my first book which is a zombie series. The first book is titled When The Dead Came, it's available through Createspace and Amazon, Amazon being an ebook while Createspace is a paperback. To begin, the story goes with a man made virus generated that gets out of control and spreads across the world.…

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
