Ok, so today I was at school, in biochem, and I had an asthma attack. I had the flu for a few days now, so I guess that triggered it. I actually finished this a few weeks ago, but I've been so busy working on a new animation - for the Halloween Monster Movie Challenge 2012 - I haven't had the time to post it to youtube until this morning.

And I don't really have the time now; I'm nowhere near finished with my monster challenge movie, but with Halloween rapidly approaching I figured I'd better take an hour out to get this thing on youtube. ;)

Today in class, we were studying embryology, and at one point the lecturer mentioned that when a woman has a child after the age of 40, it's very likely that the child would be born with Down syndrome. Now this is a genetic disorder, caused by changes in number of chromosomes. Basically, it's a mutation, and it causes physical abnormalities. I have a hypothesis zombification could be as a result of a highly infectious virus. This does make a lot of sense, from a biologist’s point of view. Let’s call the virus ZAIDS. I seem to be getting more and more into animation these days. "Dust" was made for a competition, for which I had to make a three minute film on the theme of: "Heaven and Hell." 

Though I didn't win -- boo-hoo! - I was told afterwards that Dust had come in a very close second. 

BTW, I'm currently editing my next video: "Your Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse."

It's another animation - and animation can take a lot of time - so it may be a while before I post it here.…
