Sorry I post here so rarely, but these days my time is almost completely taken up with writing, shooting, and editing silly little videos. It's become a kind of addiction. ;)

When a new edit of my zombie film, May Be Side Effects, was shown at Kino London last month, I accepted yet another challenge to make a film with whatever title they pulled from a hat. And this time the title the hat produced was: "The Last Santa."

To me, that title just screamed…

I make a differentiation between horror and paranormal thriller.

Horror is plot driven and a paranormal thriller is character driven. Take our beloved Night of the Living Dead. That is horror and it is plot driven. Time to create a legion to fight the horde. The best way to combat the scourge is by using roman tactics, we won't run out of ammunition and these tactics will crush the foul souls before us. I can inform all how to create their cohort.

With Christmas time around the corner I am forced to face the loss of my parents every day the holidays are regurgitated all over the television, in the streets, on the radio, at the mall, etc...

It serves as a constant reminder that the two people who gave birth to me, raised me and ultimately shaped me into the person I am today are not here and never will be again.

For all the wrongs they did, for the sins the committed, and for the scars they left me, I love them…
