Z-Day? Well it will take the shape of disease. Time and Place is virtually irrelevant. It will slip from under the concealed shades of a large government project to cure some sort of disease or in a vain effort to create a transparent sense of immortality.

Katana. As Max Brooks would prefer. (But in lack of that I would use a bat or other blunt objects.
Other Than Zombies I Would Have To Worry About...
Cultists who worship pagan gods to repent against what they would percieve as a religious apocalypse. (Believe me when say I don't Jesus would have seen this coming.)
