I am the Kommissar

An official of the People's Army in charge of politikal indoctrination and the enforcement of loyalty. Even in battle, a Komrad may need to be reminded of their duty to the People, and Kommissars are often seen as the Greater Good's representatives on the battlefield. Kommissars are invariably stern and unkompromising individuals, able to keep even the most anarkhic regiments in line through STRENGTH,POWER and FEAR . Either way, this enkourages the People to stand their ground against the enemy and battle it out to the end. Kommissars are, however, more than just a visible representative of the People's Will. They also often take the fight to the enemy, battling against foe after foe to aid the battle. They often operate as autonomous individuals, kounseling and advising the Kommander. They have the authority to exekute those who fail a morale chek or those who show kowardice and inkompetence. For a swift bullet to the back of the head of the faithless is far more effektive than any verbal reprisal. They must also ensure the regiment does not harbour the likes of heretics, spies, or the faithless. Kommissars are often drawn from the ranks of fiercely loyal Socialists.
