Salvage

I saw this a couple months ago.  Like State of Emergency and Pontypool, this is a small scale zombie film.  The majority of the action takes places in a single neighborhood in a middle class neighborhood. 

The film starts out slow, setting the characters and their relationships.  Some strange things start happening after a report of a container washing ashore hits the media and a military.  The tension and scares are good, but a little subdued.  The gore is decent, too, but some of the acting is suspect.

It's better than a lot of lower budget, cash-in on the zombie craze movies, but I recommend seeing State of Emergency over this movie.
