I'll dig it out Swagger and try again. I know at the time I was reading a David Icke book about, God, everything he thinks. lol It was a bit much to try more than one existential book at a time. haha

I definitely am into watching the prequel to The Thing. Scat has been talking about it.

Oh yeah sunshine is really good too. There is also a movie called screamers, 2nd one was ok, but I still the the 1st was better. Now another old school one is leviathan, that movie was pretty good too.

Prequel to the 1982 John Carpenter film and the 1951 original "The Thing From Another World"

An American scientific expedition to Antarctica makes an incredible discovery — an alien spaceship with a mysterious and sinister frozen “thing” found nearby. They decide to drill through the ice encasement, ultimately freeing the trapped organism and triggering a series of horrific incidents and attacks.

Release Date: October 14,2011

It looks pretty cool to me. I just have a slight discrimination against remakes and prequels, so it really has to be awesome for me to love it.

Event Horizon is really good. We watched Sunshine again a while ago and I really liked it. One of those movies that makes you feel all claustrophobic.

We're starting up Firefly again tonight. I guess we left off on the 2nd episode which means there is plenty to catch up with. Our satellite isn't working so it's good to have that much to watch. I think I have 173 movies on my Netflix list...

We watched Skyline last night. It was okay. Started off weak, picked up after a bit and looked pretty cool. I would recommend it if you have a couple of spare hours.

Dude, couple of other great movies: DreamCatcher and Event Horizen. And i think the X-Files was pretty good, lol. the tv show "Supernatural", awesome! And for reality "Ghost Hunters' is good too.

Thanks for joining Srgt. Swagger! You'll have to get your lady to join too. :)

I definitely have that book. Just haven't ever read it. I think I may have started it like 7 years ago when Scat and I met but, well, I guess life got in the way.

Scat and I were talking about Pandorum the other day. That one is pretty cool if anyone hasn't seen it. I love Ben Foster since back in the days of Flash Forward (I'll give anyone who remembers that series a virtual cookie!).

I am absolutely, totally intrigued with the ocean and with space, but I would never set foot in either. lol I am definitely scared of anything that could just swallow me up. I took a cruise when I was 15 and I think that will be my last.

I haven't finished watching the Firefly series but it's on Netflix and I'm itching to see it all. I've watched several episodes of Twilight Zone since they started reairing them so much.

My dad AND my mom, who are divorced, don't get along enough to talk AT ALL and live about 1 hour and 1/2 away from eachother both swear they saw UFOs and I believe them. We live about 10 minutes away from an air force base and heard the jets scrambling to catch whatever it was on both nights. It looked like what is at the 5:29 and 6:55 marks on this video and then they scrambled into a diamond formation and shot off into different directions. Creepy!

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
