I'm seeing that as one of the characters stalks victims and other characters are constantly making sexual remarks. Doesn't bother me though. :-)

I like Laymon a lot, but I have not read that one yet. I have read "One Rainy Night," "The Traveling Vampire Show," "Island, "The Cellar," and several short stories in some comps.
I think that is all, and I remember "Island" being my favorite.

I don't remember them saying there was wind at all once the darkness descended. Sorry, bud. Picked up and started my first Richard Laymon book today. I got "Ressurection Dreams". I'm hoping that was a good one to start with. Barnes & Noble didn't have a lot of his to choose from when I was there. Anyone on here read much of his work? Love it? Hate it?

Maybe one of you can help me remember where this part is in the new Keene...
He goes on and on about how there is no wind and that weather virtually is nonexistent, then the main characters goes outside at some point and feels the breeze on his face. Stupid to remember, but that has been driving me nuts for a few days but can't find it again in the book. I know I read that shit in their somewhere.

I love Brian Keene's books but agree that the new one was his least exciting. I enjoyed it but not nearly as much as his other books.

Finished new Keene and I gotta say i am quite disappointed. I love all the shit about the Thirteen so in that way I liked it, but it was lame for the most part. So I am gonna start the fourth book in the Repairman Jack series. It is called All The Rage and these are really good books so far.
