Brace yourself and gear up!! Brian Keene is my fave writer feast yourself on THE RISING then follow up with CITY OF THE DEAD, then you'll find yourself eating everything he writes.

I recently read "Zomblog" by TW Brown and loved it. It's a traditional zombie story in that it involves the "Romero-type" zombies (slow ones ... no running and no climbing on the walls or ceiling). It's written in a blog / journal format somewhat like "Day to Day Armageddon". You can read a sample chapter at his site ... as well as 3 sample chapters from one of his upcoming books ... http://maydecemberpublications.com.

A cool side note: I'm going to be doing some cover art for 3 of Todd's upcoming books ... "Eye Witness: Zombie", "Dead: The Ugly Beginning" and "Zomblog II". I got my copy of Zomblog from Amazon.

I don't really ever read PDF files, but I know that the first book in the Autumn series (which happens to be called Autumn) is free online. David Moody is author, I am sure you will find it easy with that info. Good zombie series.

I've read "The Rising: Selected Scenes From the End of the World" as well as his "Unhappy Endings" collection. Both were a lot of fun. They left me wanting more. Didn't know he was doing a sequel to Conqueror Worms. Guess I should have checked out his site before now. :-)

Conqueror of Worms is weird cause it is based on a short story about it raining and satanists fucking with everybody. He uses that story as a weird back story in the book. I think it was originally in Fear of Gravity. I also love his short story comp called Unhappy Endings. Anybody on here read "The Rising: Selected Scenes From the End of the World"?
