So here is a sequel that I bet will be a big hit on here,
"Apocalypse of the Dead" by Joe McKinney. Dead City is a great book, but little did I know it is just book one in a four part series, and the second book comes out Nov 2, woo hoo! Great News!

I'm reading "Contagious" by Scott Sigler (just about done with it). It's a very cool sequel to an excellent book ("Infected"). I highly recommend it!

I can't remember if I'd mentioned this but "The Zombie-Wilson Diaries" by Tim W Long is very entertaining. The chapter headings alone are worth the price of admission.

How could I have left out The Dragon Factory by Jonathan Maberry? I though Patient Zero was a solid addition to the zombie genre, and although the sequel has no zombies in it, I dig the main character enough to check this one out. I saw it at Borders the other day so it already out obviously.

I didn't know it was even happening let alone already realeased but
CRUSADE (EDEN BOOK 2) by Tony Monchinski is out and ready for order. I am losing my shit right now, hope his editor does a better job this time though.

Anybody got a sequel coming out they are pumped about? For the last few years it seems this is the time of the year for sequels and threequels and so on to come out. Here are a few I have been waiting on: "Dog Blood" by David Moody. This is the sequel in the trilogy kicked off by "Hater." Will be reading this real soon. The Fall: Book Two of the Strain Trilogy by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan comes out 9-21-10 and I can't freaking wait. The Starter (Galactic Football League, Volume 2) by Scott Sigler this is the sequel to The Rookie. This is like a 7 part series so got some time. Only 1 a year. There are several more I can't remember, so remind me of the others please.

finished Jake's Wake by John Skipp and Cody Goodfellow a few days ago. It is a weird story about this small time televangelist with some seriously disturbing habits on the side who is killed and wildly comes back to life only to brutally torture people who worshiped him while alive. It was really intense and graphic,and even kind of thought provoking in a religious sense, but I would say only mildly entertaining.

Not sure about the price I got it from the county library. With being hooked up to several libraries all over the state all I have to do is get it on hold and get it when it comes in. Going to be doing a search for a few other aombie books once my list gets down farther than it is now

Blackest Night sounds cool, but some those are expensive. How much was it Lewis?

I just finished Blackest Night. I is a graphic novel from the dc universe involving the justice league and green lantern corps facing an army of the dead brought back by an enemy that wants nothing but to rid the universe of the living. Thought it was pretty good.
