Argento's new film Giallo is nothing to write home about.

I really enjoyed Mother of Tears and felt the Italian master was coming back in a major way. Especially since he was doing one of his trademark thrillers(Gialli, as thay are called in Italy) coming right off of the last in the Three Mothers trilogy. I assumed his form was pure and at the original state of his creative powers.

Man, was I dissappointed. I will always love and support Argento but this last film, Giallo, seemed as if someone else directed it. It featured NONE of his snazzy camara work. No tracking shots. No good crane shots. A few gory murders but it just wasnt nearly enough of anything. Then it ended and I  was like, "that's it?". Major let-down.
