Entry 9 of a Z.A. Survivor

Entry 9

November 23^rd 2019 - I thought it would be nice to finally meet someone else in person, but when your first experience with someone new is being shot in the shoulder with an arrow is definitely eye opening. Due to being so weakened it is apparent that I have been unconscious for nearly 2 weeks. I found that the hunter that shot me was actually a huntress. She’s been taking care of me as it seems in a tent somewhere in the woods. The bandage is great and I must have been fed quite well due to no longer feeling hungry. She’s told me that she was sorry for the mistake, she couldn’t see the journal from a long distance away, thinking I was a zombie about to eat her prey. Evelyn, or Eve as she likes to be called is very talkative at times. Can only assume I’m the first human contact she’s had in a while as well. Haven’t been able to leave the tent just yet, but I’ve been told that the trip wires around will alarm us if anything were to enter in the camp unwelcome. She’s out hunting right now, since we’re the only two about she wants to have a good meal for tomorrow. Hell, maybe I’ll be able to help cook and do something for a change besides laying down useless. I have to start getting my strength back. Till next time.
