Entry 7 of a Z.A. Survivor

November 5th 2019 - I cannot stand these dogs…they did not stay distracted too long. How stupid could I be, why would dogs run towards car alarms and zombies. As soon as I got out of the house I was chased down by two of the bigger beasts…luckily I managed to kill one with my rifle after 3 shots. But my dilemma in a quick reload attempt I lost the last of my ammo. With only one option of escape I had to duck into another enclosed space. A small car on the side of the road. Just a lovely great feeling that I’m in a Cujo movie now with the dogs trying to get in and the zombies coming up the street. All I could do was just lay flat and low as I can and try not to move as the zombies continued past the vehicles and moaning around.
 
After an hour of completely being uncomfortable the moonlight shines through the car glinting off a piece of metal on the car floor. Yep you know it, I felt like I was home free. I picked up the car key and put it into the ignition and whadaya know…A half sputtering vehicle. I had to quickly drive the sputtering machine down the road through a few zombies, but hey. Felt like grand theft auto: zombie edition. Will let ya know more once I get to a safer destination.
