Entry 2 of a ZA Survivor

Entry 2

October 13th,

2019. I've come across a small farm which seemed to have been void of survivors or zombies. Thankfully there were live chickens around, and I knew where there were chickens had to be some eggs as well. Being a while since I've eaten a hearty breakfast I gathered around 9 eggs and thought I would search the nearby house for supplies. It was my lucky day! I broke in as quietly as I could just in case the house was inhabited but no one was home. Using the gas stove I cooked all 9 eggs, I was starving. After breakfast I searched around the house a bit more, very simple...no tv, no radio, no computer. I found a nice clean blanket that I rolled up to take with me. Searching everywhere I came across a rifle and a small box of ammo, 19 bullets. It seemed small and I was never much of a "hunter" could only assume it is what one would call a 22. I will admit I had to take it, protection will be needed a t some point.
The day went by fairly well, I thought about spending the night to sleep in a bed for once in a long time, but the idea of being in an enclosed area no longer sat well with me. I have to be out in the open. So here I sit before the sun goes down completely, I'm still near the small farm, but only so I can grab some more eggs in the morning before I go.
