How does Zombification occur?

All of these sound very interesting, but I do believe that zombies of any sort will most likely be the result either of a biological weapon or 'cure' gone horribly wrong, or a parasite similar to one that exits in nature, but possibly mutated. The only thing I doubt is that a serious zombie threat will come from a literally re-animated corpse. I do not know the exact amount of energy required to re-start the heart, but I would imagine that it is significantly more than most animals can produce. Even in the event that the heart is re-started, without some action in at least the hind, and probably parts of the mid-brain, there would be no way for this new corpse to move to roll over. It's so much cheaper to take over these functions than to restart them.

i think its disease and parisite who says its only one thing makeing them? one could make slow lumbering zombies while another makes fast killers. i do know that it is a disease though from one of my sorces but i can't say much more.
