no, they should have just left the franchises as they were instead of updating them, Freddy from NOEM remake just seemed too human to me

it seems to me that the more they try to update them. the more despirate they become for ideas. they went as far as they can with these guys. time to let them R.I.P. and move on to bigger and better things. they had their day and time. anything else is just a sad echo and mochery of their names. sorta like the Star Trek era. the more you hash and rehash. the worse it gets.

this is not a update its a sequal the 3 Horror legands need to meet i even come up whit my own ending, Robert needs to comeback one last time to play Freddy before he gets too old well even if they don't never make Freddy vs Jason vs Michael they still one day could make Michael vs Jason

but it would still be a hash and rehash job. when the remakes of NOES and HALLOWEEN came out. and the FRIDAY THE 13TH remake was no better. the films had no where near the following as the others and i am as much a die hard fan of those movies as the next guy. but they had their time. the actors are to old to reclaim their roles and the following for the films just isn't there anymore. so even a film where you have a three way battle between Michael, Freddy, and Jason is still looked at by a lot of people as beating the hell out of a dead horse. and i cant help but agree. time to honor the memories of these films and let the actors rest and enjoy retirement.

maybe so when it comes to Michael and Jason. but it is still shoving moldy pizza at a shrinking fan base. i mean look at the numbers on the new ones versus the old movies. it would be a waste of time and good money that could be used to make some very good to totally awsome zombie movies. dude. let the dead horse rest and go to the glue factory. Michael, Freddy, and Jason has had their time. even when Freddy vs. Jason hit the movie screens, the following was just not there. i went to see that on opening day. you want to know how many was there? a grand total of 8 people including me. and being i was there to see other movies that day. the numbers after the first viewing were even worse. my best friend manages the movie theater i went to. i talked with him the day they took it out of the running a whole month later. at any given time. attendance for that movie never went over 8 people at a time and i was the record holder for the oldest viewer. its safe to say that these guys dont even frighten much less draw in the crowds like in their prime. facts are as they are brother. i'm sorry to say. they had their time. their time is more then done.

that not true freddy vs jason was a hit it made 300 million world wide i don't care about how much the movies make i just want to see jason and michael fight or all 3 of them fight i love the characters and freddy vs jason  was not a about being scary it was was about seeing the 2 horror icons battle each other and even if they never make freddy vs jason vs michael or just michael vs jason they still sould make just one more jason movie so they really be 13 films in the series

the point was not how much it made but how much it didnt make. in each film franchise. each one individually grossed almost twice the 300 million Freddy vs. Jason did on its release date. during the 80's when these guys hit the big screen was an ideal time for them when people wanted them. they want something more then what these guys can give. hence the proof that the following is dying bro. and Hollywood is out to make money not lose it. and they would be losing big by trying to rehash a movie character that has a dying following. so as much as i hate to say it. when it comes to the big trifecta fight of the three movie greats. brother. dont hold your breath. its still trying to sell a moldy pizza to a dying fan base. i love them as much as the next guy but the facts are as they are.

in my opinion they screwed up big time on this movie by altering one thing. when Freddy Kruger was first introduced in the 80's. he was a child murderer. in the new one they made Freddy the worst thing they could have made him. a child molester. thats where they really hurt the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. had they stayed to the plot line then the movie would have stood a chance and maybe revived the movie character. instead they buried it. very sad.
