that would be something to see. set up the field and take bets as to which ones make it the furthest in. house gets 10% of the take. lol.
i think we should also add a human element to this game like dropping Celine Dion into the minefield thus getting rid of her and possiblly making the zombies move faster towards their screaming din-din
good point. nothing like a little "live bait" to get the game going. very good call. i like Celine Dion though. she has a nice ass! lol.
Oh komrad no no no

You kan no like the celine dion we will find you a better ass to see as nice lol
i'm gonna hold ya to that komrad. lol.

i've tried to read all 5 pages of the comments here, and haven't seen anyone touch on probably the most important subjects.

1. IS IT EASY TO CARRY.  spears are great. swords are great, great axes are.... great,..   but it's not the only thing you are carrying.  backpack, gear, food, shelter, tools...   you know... the REAL survival stuff?  does your weapon hinder you marching, climbing, endurance?   if so, it's not worth taking. even swords with scabbards hinder your movement as the scabbard hangs by your legs and hinders your ability to move.  don't believe me? run a simple obstacle course with a katana on your hip and see how often it gets hung up on things.

2. WHAT DOES IT CONTRIBUTE? a weapon is a weapon.   good rule of survival is that if an item in your pack can't be used for at least 3 different uses, it isn't worth carrying and should be replaced with something more practical.   a sword is a sword.  it is good at slicing things.  but can you chop wood with it? dig holes? break into a building? no.  it has only one use.  and there for the 3-4lbs it costs to carry isn't worth it.  your weapon should be able to be used for lots of things.  an axe at least can help you build shelter or acquire firewood.

3. DURABILITY weapons deteriorate.  movies lead people to believe their katana can cut through a tank.  the truth is that carbon steel edged weapons require just as much up keep as a firearm.  a katana is razor sharp for a little bit, but it's performance gets really shitty when it gets dull.  (once again, don't believe me, check out the world record for tatami mat cutting with one sword.   it's impressive, but not zombie apocalypse survival impressive.  the weapons you choose have to be simple to maintain, and able to withstand a severe beating.

with all of that in mind, i am choosing this::  (YOU CAN SEE A FULL DESCRIPTION IN DIY: ZOMBIE GEAR, WARMARSHALL'S WARCABINET)

as for firearms...  something light, versatile, with easy to acquire ammunition and magazines
KELTEC PLR-16 with Aimpoint Red Dot scope and magpul angle foregrip

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
