If there is no way to kill them and the infection is airborne then we will all be up shits creek!

one can still prepeare. i mean think a minute. if its airborn, survivors can build an immunity of sorts to it. there is not a virus thats air born that the human body cant defeat. the only ones the body has a problem with is pathegeons that are born in the blood stream or other bodily fluids. and as far as cant be killed goes. ask yourself this. how can a headless zombie kill a person? without a head, it cant bite you. no mouth. without a brain, it cant navigate to you. it has no sense of reason such as it is if there is no head. so mankind can still get a hand hold here even in this type of problem. remove the head be it with a bullet or a machete, then the problem is rendered a moot point. totally take them apart and the problem is solved. just burn the wiggling remains. and one more point on air born viruses. a good gas mask that is NCB approved with a filter to match is a major help in this matter.

well if you just keep shooting them you'll find out one way or another where there weak point is. and if there like the ones form return of the living dead that can't be killed. then well just have to cut off their arms legs head. what ever we gotta do to keep them from moving about. now if the virus is airborne all that means is that its gonna be passed from either infected humans or infected zombies. you can defeat this by wearing a mask. a simple duct mask or cloth wrapped around the mouth with extremely limit chance of getting infected and a gas mask will removed it all but completely.

An air born strain will only be truly deadly early on before we realize it. even then simple acts like washing your hands often and not touching your face drastically reduces the effectiveness. just breathing the same air as someone general wont infect you. in fact you rarely get infected through the mouth. most likely cause of contamination is touching something some infected breathed, sneezed or coughed on. and then touching your eyes or nose. basically treat it like you would the common cold and you'll be more or less fine.
